Guys
they told me about Fluval as a cart filler material so i ordered some.
I received this and wanted to make sure it's the same stuff everyone is speaking about.

What i received was polypropylene webbing.
A net
of plastic
very lightweight

it's working great in my Janty stick, but i'm sure this is not the fluval everyone is raving about.

It is not the foam that you want, it is the 'Polishing Filter Pad'.
Fluval 304 / 305 / 404 / 405 Fine Polishing Filter Pad Six Pack A-244

When I went to buy it, the only package the pet store had in stock was oddly shaped and seemed that a lot of it would be wasted...

So I just purchased a bag of poly fill water polishing filter material. Now I have a lifetime supply of the correct poly fill. The only draw back is that it is loose so I can't just cut a piece and stuff it.

Damn
well iv'e been vaping a polypropylene net all day long in my cart.
No wonder i'm feeling a bit odd!!

Ok! yes i saw the fluffy stuff on the video, i shall try to buy the polishing filter and not the foam or the fishing net.

And by the way !! One thing they forgot to mention at the aquatic depot, is, "Don't drink water, fish f*** in it!

Heck, if it works good you may have hit on a new materiel for filler. Once folded or rolled and inserted it should be about the same since it's just a different form of the same 'stuff':D

Guys sorry to burst your bubble.
The fluval net filter is much much better than the fluffy water polishing pad.

The net is much more porous and distributes liquid much better.
Fluval Universal Filter Media Bag Two Pack A-1428 is the product name.

The fluval water polishing pad (the fluffy stuff), is not bad, but does not give as many puffs with the same amount of liquid.
Moral of the story : I'm happy i made the mistake.

LOL -- I just had to comment.
When I first started, in my search to find a way to empty my carts, I kept reading about Fluval. So, armed with my little paper that read "Fluval", I went to the local pet store.
Mind you; not only do I now, or have I ever had an aquarium. I know NOTHING about them. So, when I get there, you can imagine my surprise when I discovered Fluval was a brand name and NOT something that you use! What can I say: Flu = fluid ; Val = beats me, I catch fish, not watch them on my table! LOL
The foam was what I went with and I spent the evening cutting it up, working on getting the diameter just right; not too loose so the liquid basically ran out, yet not too compacted so it wouldn't.

It is not the foam that you want, it is the 'Polishing Filter Pad'.
Fluval 304 / 305 / 404 / 405 Fine Polishing Filter Pad Six Pack A-244
After seeing the video that was posted in an earlier comment, I thought this must be the Fluval everyone has been talking about, and anything that keeps me from having to sit there and spend time trimming foam to the perfect size was a winner in my book.
So, off to the store to get the polishing filter pad.

Well, for me, it didn't work as good as the foam, but I still picked up some great tips on cart stuffing, so I still love the video.

Isn't funny how just like there isn't a perfect PV, there isn't a perfect stuffing?

For the small carts either the pyramid tea bags work well or the blue reticulated foam. (smaller cell foam)
For the large carts the tea bags work very badly.
For the large carts a large cell reticulated foam works really well.
If you have a janty stick i suggest you use the large cell foam.
I can vape 2 hours non stop on one cart with the larger foam cell.

The fluval polishing pad is a polyfill..(polyester fiber)
It works poorly, and keeps getting stuck in the wick.

As you discovered Fluval is a brand name ...it took me while to figure it out too.
