Hi everyone,

i know im a noob, but i need some help.
i've read that turning round connector in the screw-in part of the carto, It lifts that contact, and then it makes connection to the contact on the battery better. But when i turn around the connector it block the air instate. its like some thing stuck and cant get the air flow smoothly. I cant even blow the artomizer. anybody know what happen?

Could you please repeat the question? Need more input. What is it that you did to your artomizer? Did you try to modify the artomizer? What kind of artomizer are we talking about that you are having a instate problem with.

Need to know if we are talking about a artomizer or a cartomizer?

Im sorry, I should tell you more specific. I thought artomizer and cartomizer are the same. I've purchase 4 packs (25 pcs) cartomizer from vapor4life and 8 of'em didnt work.
i've read this thread ( http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/108194-fix-non-working-cartos.html )
and try to follow the steps but when i turn the around the connector it become worse. I thought if I turn the connector, it will give more air trough and make the connection to the battery better. The air cant even get trough even when i blew from the cartomizer. its like some thing stuck inside the cartomizer.

The indent at the threaded end of cartomizers is to loosen the draw and tighten the draw, using a screwdriver. Turn left to loosen and turn right to tighten. The adjustment (with a screwdriver) is NOT for making a better connection to the battery. Try to adjust it back (turn left or counterclockwise) to where it was originally, but don't turn it too much (no more than 1/4 of a turn). Turning it too much will destroy the cartomizer.

This adjustment should really never be necessary. I've found that if the draw is too tight, it means I overfilled the carto with liquid. So, I'll blow through the threaded end to remove the excess juice. This usually works. If it doesn't work, and I've nudged the filter a little bit using a paper clip, I'll flush out the carto using the method shown in my blog.

The adjustment sometimes needed to have a better connection to the battery is to use a paper clip or something similar (or even a small screwdriver) and lift the round thing at the threaded end of the carto and the round thing at the threaded end of the battery just a little bit, in case the round thing(s) are stuck down a little. This adjustment will loosen the round thing(s) so the gaskets underneath are sitting correctly under the round thing(s). (Don't know any other way to explain this...)

Check to see if the label is covering the grooves that are cut on the threaded side of the cartomizer. You may have to remove some of the label around those grooves.
Quite awhile back I thought I had read about adjusting that cartomizer connector and was told by a few members that I was completely wrong and that you were not suppose to touch that connector. They said the adjustment that I was talking about was for the adaptors only and not the cartomizer.

What percentage of VG is in your liquid? VG (or vegetable glycerine) is the second number in the ratio that looks like this, for example: 50/50 PG/VG. VG creates more vapor, and PG creates more flavor and throat hit.

Also, if you overfill the cartomizer, you will get less vapor and will have to puff harder. To remove excess juice, blow through the mouth end or through the threaded end of the carto about three times. This might help to get more vapor, because it will allow more air to get inside the filter.
