i personally dont get why. i am using the evods right now and they are pretty finicky. the heads lose juice all the time and you constantly have to adjust voltages to try and clean out the gurgle. you have to 'sip' on it and i like hittin it like a cigarette.

Just add a small piece of wick to reduce the juice flow. Nature of the beast with gravity fed clearo's. juice viscosity, and air-flo differences have to be balanced by how much juice can pass to the wick. At least the EVOD and Pro Tank head design makes any adjustments that may be needed easy to do.

that is going to be my last resort if the carto tanks dont work out. although i bought a 25pk of xl boges at .92 each. so it will be a while. what i didnt want to do was continue to buy heads at 2.50 each and continue to have to fix them. it just seems foreign to me. but if the evod heads turn out to be the best option... i will for sure get my fingers sticky.

more worrisome is the caveat that evod heads do not fit - wonder if something was changed :?:

My eVod heads would fit just fine in the one I got from the first Sun-Vapers shipment, but I could only get one out of five to fire after reassembling the unit and trying it on my PV. And that was when they came in those stupid jewelry boxes, so if it's just an issue of the eVod heads not firing that you're talking about, nothing has changed. Plenty of people can still get their eVod heads to work with the Protank, though, so I think it's the luck of the draw there. We all know what Kanger's quality control is like.

I'm glad they ditched the fancy boxes in favor of the current low-key (and consequently, lower-priced) packaging. It should save a lot of money on production and shipping costs.
