I can't get verified!!!

I can't get verified I have tried 2 times with my e-bay account that is perfect so what's going on. Do you have to be in the US? How can you contact the man/woman who verifies people as I would like to sell/swap some thing I no longer use. Anyone know any other sites to sell/swap on? It's a shame as I like the users on the site always helpful and the site it's self but if it don't get sorted soon I'M GONNA SMOKE AN ANALOG!!!

To get a verified paypal account you need to have either A. a credit card linked to your account or B. a debit card.

An eBay account isn't enough, as I understood it -- the purpose isn't to confirm that you're a purchaser or seller on ebay in good standing. The purpose is to verify that you are who you say you are, and that your paypal address and registered email on ECF line up. Its a precautionary step to confirm identity -- and sending in multiple requests is not recommended. A single person does all of the approvals, and he's had a number of other issues on his plate recently: Family health, graduation of a son, and dealing with 3 Co-Op's that have gone south. It took almost 3 weeks for me to get approved -- just have some patience if you submitted things as requested.
