Was submitted on 7/25..

I did searches through various uncommon words found in my submission, like "CVS," "Walgreen," "pharmacy" & "cinnamon"..

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/fda-regulations/586430-having-fun-fda-comments.html

Nothing..

However, I see submissions containing these with dates after mine was made..

Question is, why can't I find it?

Am I not using the search function correctly? Not sure about that, as other submissions are popping up..

Is it maybe because there are website links posted?

Another reason??

I have the comment tracking number, but can't find it using that, either..

Have others tried locating their submitted comments?

Might be a good idea...

Did you submit it as an attachment? Those cannot be searched.

Otherwise, they may have not read it yet. With the large volume of comments they're receiving, it's unlikely they're reading them in order. See if it turns up in a couple more days.

If you happen to have a copy of it handy, you can submit it again, just to be sure they get it :D

Well we can't count on the FDA to be timely  maybe they'll all be posted by this time next year?
Well, here is what is bizarre...

The last time I posted about this, they had only posted 103 of the comments.
Every time I look, it seems a few more have been posted.

I don't pretend to understand what is going on.

I read somewhere that they are required by law to read each comment, and they say upon submission that your comment will be reviewed before it is posted... so maybe they just don't have enough people on the job to handle the flood of comments coming in. That's my guess anyway.

If lack of man-power is the case, then perhaps they only post something like every 50th one or something (based on DC2's numbers, anyway)..

Still, makes you wonder if they even read them all..

Which means we also have to continue to fight this battle in other ways.. Whether it's financial donations to CASAA or AVA & the like, introducing more smokers to vaping, helping out newbie-vapers, exposing/smearing our opposition, etc..

I just hope people don't lose interest once the comment period is over.. Because this long war going back to at least 2009 is still in the fairly early stages...

Yes, they are required to "do something" with each comment but I really don't know how they can be held accountable for reading them. Will they be "quizzed" for comprehension so we know? And I really don't know what they do with the information gleaned from all the comments. I would hope they categorize them based on content.

For what it's worth... I parked my car at the Vet's hospital last week. I'm still looking for it. 8-o

It's been a week. My comment is still not there. LOTS of copy/paste premium cigar comments that are identical, yet my heartfelt story about how eCigarettes helped me stop smoking the very same day I tried them (and kept me off them for 18 months) didn't post.

Maybe because I made a valid argument for keeping flavors???

I smell conspiracy (veiled in a cloud of cherry scented vapor).

It finally posted!!!

Comment:
After smoking 1.5 packs a day for 35 years (I am 51), I tried "vaping". That same day, I stopped smoking and have not had a cigarette since. That was 18 months ago. I really enjoyed smoking, and had no intention of quitting, regardless of the detrimental effects on my health. I am now exercising, can breath much better, can taste food better, and feel much healthier. One of the things that keeps me vaping is the variety of flavors available. I use over a dozen flavors in rotation, such as banana, blueberry, cherry, and some pipe tobacco flavors (although not as often). In my opinion, ecigarettes should remain legal for adults, and the various flavors should not be restricted in any way. Ecigarettes could be one of the best tobacco harm reduction methods ever invented, and restricting them for adults, one of the biggest debacles in the history of the USA.
