yup another problem...
I'm also a chain vapor. I like vaping to much I guess...
I don't think 5 minutes go buy where I haven't had a vape... I have a desk job so its always there.
only time I don't vape is when I'm working in the garden... but even then I have a vape every 10 min or so...

edit: I don't taste much first thing in the morning when I haven't vaped in 7 hours or so.

well I have an order from MLV coming in, sample of 40 different flavors... quite a few with double shot flavoring
I also have a bunch of Dark Side Creations & Funk Sauce steeping
won't get a chance to taste those for at least a few weeks., well 1 bottle in a week.
also have a bunch from Canada Vapes... they taste Meh... black cherry I can taste... if you like cherry cough syrup...
I do have a bottle of peppermint... and I can taste that. been adding it to my "Death by Chocolate" to get some flavor... but can't really taste the chocolate...
It has only been 3 weeks since I quite smoking... and I got a tongue brush today... perhaps in time that will help...

okay, may i conclude that your problem may be that peice of hardware between your PV and driptip?

since you're not in the rebuildable side of things, may i ask how long you've had your carto/tank in use for?

taste goes down the hole after about two weeks for me....

I have been using my vivi for about a week now, with clean clear juices. I clean it regularly. BTW I am not a chain vapor :vapor: I am pretty sure it isn't vapor tongue either as I have never been able to taste the juice the way people have described it. I think my palette is just made to drip. Tha t and starting with vg juices probably didn't help.

thanks, light

well no matter what I taste... or don't taste... its better then those stinky analogs...
I forgot how bad they smelled.... until a lady walked by me in the store the other day....
and to think I use to smell like that all the time....
so either way I'm happy... but of course I would be happier if I could taste the vape more...
so I'll cut out spicy food for a while... I use very little salt as it is, but will cut that down..
but as for putting my PV down....
well you can pry it out of my hands... when I'm dead.

No I went to dripping. My life lends itself to dripping so I said what the hell. I will revisit tanks again when my mvp v2 is delivered. For now its my 510 bridgeless atty until I get the flow. I also ordered a cyclone clone to learn to rebuild.
Yeah, everything I've read seems to suggest that dripping is the best for flavor, among other things. For flavor hounds like ourselves, getting into rebuildable drippers seems to be the inevitable path to follow, so to speak. My mini Protank + eGo C Twist seem to do very well with tobacco flavors, but everything else is really muted.

On a side note, try saying "cyclone clone" five times fast...

I have a dripping atty, that was given to me for testing juices.... but it isn't bridgeless...
I do taste it a bit more using this. (vaping Perl Necklace)
I googled the cyclone clone, and it looks great, but I think it would look kinda odd on my ego twist.
then again so will the Trident Stainless Steel Rebuildable Atomizer I ordered.
I can't go to nuts and order to much...
my wife is complaining that I spent to much already... and vaping was suppose to save on money....

I have had to use concentrates to add to my liquids in order to get flavour.

Ive been vaping for about 5 months now and have tried every kind of setup, some work better than others but ultimately i just dont taste things unless it is STRONG.

So I may add 20 drops of menthol to a 30ml bottle, or 15 drops of cinnamon concentrate, or 20 black licorice. Those flavours I DO taste.

Everyone is different, I just can't taste most of the flavours out there. I taste food just fine but when it comes to vaping it just doesn't taste like much unless I doctor the juices.

I have to mention again a rebuildable dripper... IGO-S if you want small enough to look good on an Igo battery, or any of the other larger ones that use silica (or Ekowool) and kanthal wire. (or cotton for those who prefer)

Honestly, it took me no more than 5 or 10 minutes to get it right the very first time I tried after watching a couple how-to videos.

Compared to ANY pre-build system you will try, be it top coil, bottom coil or carto... This will BLOW YOUR MIND/Taste buds!

The first one I did was a single strand of 2mm silica left long so it could suck up juice from the well below, and it was the best so far. Afterwards, I tried large figure 8 loops, and unbelievably, it was actually too much flavor. It changed the flavor profile so much, that I no longer enjoyed it.

Another possibility, I just got the supplies for this but have not tried it yet... Is to rebuild, say, a protank head using cotton.

I'm going to try that tonight... Just replacing the silica with cotton at first... Leaving the original kanthal in place.

If that doesn't give me amazing results, I guess I'll try rebuilding it from scratch... Wire and all.
