It was tasting really good before cleaning it. The sales guy said to do it twice a week, so I thought I should. Huge mistake. I soaked it in IS Alcohol for 15 minutes, rinsed it out and let it dry over night. I primed it up with juice and YUCK.

Now I have to drive an hour to get another one so let this be an lesson to me. Never clean another atty, if it is'nt broke don't fix it. Secondly, stock up on parts this trip to the store. Oh man, I sure do miss my vaping so I better get to the store asap and hope I can make it with out stopping for real cigs.

Glad to hear you're rinsing it after soaking in ISO alc. Rubbing alcohol is poisonous to ingest. Cheap vodka or PGA is a better choice. I use that if I have skunk juice in my atty for odor/taste removal. Otherwise, just rinse the atty in hot water before bed, blow out the water, repeat and it'll be good as new in the morning You'll keep your atty from getting gunked and it can last you months with a simple daily or every-other-day hot water rinse.

You'll want to have at minimum three attys on hand. VaporKings is a good place to get geniune Joye attys in bulk. The cost comes to less than half of single atty prices in most cases. Good luck!

I used to try to clean them out with alcohol, but it didn't seem to help out too much. Now I just ride the atty until it dies. But I have a regular juice rotation with flavors that compliment each other and don't taste too bad if they mix a little. I've noticed LR attys tend to burn off flavors much quicker than standard resistance ones.

I had bad taste after cleaning attys as well. NOW, I clean first with baking soda then vinagar, rinse well, then soak with coke for two days! Then rinse again, blow out, then dry a day? If I'm in a hurry, you can put them in the oven for 30mins at 170 degrees. I've been refining this process for a month now. I'm using 510 tank atty's.

This is exactly what I do. Just rinse them out with hot water every once in a while. (My tap water is pretty hot, so I hold it under the water stream with a pair of pliers or whatever).
No alcohol, vodka, etc...just very hot water.
I rinse it out well from both sides, blow out the excess water and let it sit overnight to dry out...good as new the next day.
I've been using the same two attys for a month now and they're still great. :)
(Although, I just recently started using Boge Cartos and love them).
