vinager for hard to clean atty

I made the mistake of using lorrans cinnamon oil bc hubby really wanted cinnamon and it came in the sampler I got.I only used a little but I used my atty to test it then everything tasted like cinnamon.

tied soaking it in vodka but it didn't work. then it hit me to try vinager ( I use it for cleaning all the time around the house).
I mixed half vinager and half water. soaked for 30 min stirring it around once in a while. then soaked in plain water for another 15. now you can't tell it ever had cinnamon oil in it. I'm sure it would also work for a clogged or gooped up atty.

Doesn't it now taste like vinegar or did you get that odor out also?

Cinnamon is hard to get rid of..

nope. thats why you soak it in plain water for a few min after. vodka would do to. vinager and water is used to clean coffee pots and if done right the vinager flavor won't be there.

Maybe try boiling water and letting the atty soak in it.

Seemed to remedy when i use vapor bombs cinna bomb.
