Try twisting it while wearing a rubber kitchen/cleaning glove:

Literally just using the heavier/less sharp end of the screwdriver to lightly tap around the threading to see if it will loosen. Have you ever tapped the lid of a jar on the counter to open it? Sort of that idea, just don't go banging your tank too hard. Kitchen gloves or other grippers are also good. If all else fails, you can probably stick in the freezer for 10 mins and try twisting again; often this helps but I consider it kind of a last-ditch effort before moving to pliers or something else that could harm the tank. Just make sure it comes back to room temp before vaping again. I recently had a coil hopelessly stuck in the base of a new tank and it was the freezer that got it out.

These things do happen no matter how careful you are so I'm definitely not blaming you, but it is a good reminder for everyone here that when screwing down... pretty much anything associated with e-cigs, barring a few exceptions... finger-tight is the way to go.

What do you mean by try tapping it lightly?
Tap the threaded part(the part where the cap screws on/off with the body) lightly with a screw driver or against a hard corner.
And keep trying to unscrew while doing that.
I think that's what halbgott meant.
Don't tap too hard though. It may cause the threading to bend and then it'll be almost impossible to unscrew it.

Best possible way is to let it sit in a refrigerator for a while which will cool it down and might compress the metal to the extent where you can unscrew it.(I'm not sure if the top threads of ijust are metal or not, but this method usually works with metal threads. Worked with my pico.)
Give it a try.
Good luck.
(Wouldn't mind being corrected by the veterans here if I'm wrong.)

I'm pretty sure it's metal from what I remember. it actually happened to me about 6 months ago and I just gave up on it until now I opened this thread.

Alright I'll try it later and I'll tell you if it worked

Well, I just tried that twice and I still couldn't get it open

Did you put it in the freezer?
For how long?
At first I put it in the freezer for 10 minutes, and the second time I put it to 25 minutes.

You may try a wet rag for a good grip .
If not last resort wide grip pliers using a rag to protect the metal , squeeze just enough to hold its grip and twist clockwise .
Wait what? Do I need to twist it clockwise?

Someone passed me an iJust2 tank which they'd managed to completely over-tighten.
I was confident it would be easy and I could do it without washing (or garden) gloves or tools.

I managed to put 3 slices in my fingers thanks to the 'fin' design Eleaf use on the base of that tank.

I think you might need to leave it in the refrigerator overnight.
Try heating it up by using it. And then put it in for a few hours atleast.
But if you're impatient or this doesn't work then your only solution would be the pliers method as mentioned by dieseler but keep in mind you do risk damaging your device permanently if you don't do it properly.

I just did the same thing, I stuck flat head screwdriver in the air flow slot and held tank. And turned it. Might work. Hold tank In wet washcloth.

This lady loves to vape. Non-smoker since Mothers Day 2014. Best decision for better health and longer life.

Ah! The screwdriver is a good idea! Gonna try that on my Nautilus tank so I can leave it on the mod.

OP- Actually, I managed to get an oil filter off my bike once by using the suggested method of a short crank Clock-wise. Sometimes snapping it quickly is a better technique than a slow twist also.

Thank you so much! I eventually got it open by putting it in the freezer for about 3 hours and using a butter knife opening it from the airflow holes.
