I am a long time drooler of the ProVari and Z Atty..

I could not resist the urge any longer and pounced on the July 4th sale (5% off). I had hopes that it would be 10% but hey, saving a few bucks is better than nothing right?

I ordered me a Black ProVari Mini with Blue LED and a Z Atty Pro along with a few other small items..

Looking forward to my gear arriving and seeing what all this ProVari hype is all about!

3 quick questions:

1) Drip Tips: I have a Super T shorty, will it fit the Z Atty? I have read that some drip tips do not fit.

2) Has anyone discovered a way to keep the Z Atty from leaking if laid on it's side?

3) I read that the top cap of the Z Atty pops off easily (like when in a pocket). Has anyone been able to solve this issue using different o-ring or other method?

After reading how fragile the ceramic wicks are I also ordered a o-ring repair kit (since it comes with the insulator needed to use the mesh) and some 400x400 wicks. I will probably use the SS wicks instead of the ceramic. Any comments from users of both? ie.. Pro and cons of ceramic -v- SS mesh would also be appreciated.

Thanks all and I am excited to get my new gear! :)

congrats on your purchase. I am into mechs now, but my provari and zap still get regular use. The hourglass tip on the zap is beautiful. great looking setup all around. vapes great. top does pop off easily, i have not looked too hard at a solution though. I get sidetracked too easily. I prefer 500 ss mesh though. seems to wick better for me.

Enjoy your purchase!

Cool!

I am the opposite as I am changing over from mechanical devices. I have exclusively used Super T mechanical's for a few years now and I absolutely love them but I have always been a little envious of the ProVari and the Z Atty.

I am sure I will have growing pains with the Z Atty but I am thrilled that I won't be buying atomizers / cartomizers by the handful anymore..

Thanks for the reply!

I love both my VV Provari and SuperT mechanical mods (P+18, Shockwave, ELA) but I hated the ZAP... It works well but you know the ZAP is a heavy/bulky beast.... Im an exclusive direct dripper....period!

Super T make some AWESOME gear that's for sure!

I have never used or seen a ZAP so time will tell. I grew tired of dripping (read: constant drip, drip, drip) along with the often dry hit. You know, that moment when you realize you need to drip more in? YUCK!

My main reason for the ZAP is because I am tired of constantly buying cartomizers and / or atomizers. I gave my VPX Pro-V to a friend because I was tired of buying cartomizers left and right. Maybe it's my vaping style but I was only averaging 2 days out of a caro. Some lasted 3 or 4 days and some only lasted 15 minutes..

Even buying in bulk I was spending big time $$$$$ a month just on cartomizers..

The ProVari mini and the Z Atty will pretty much be a home use only device until I find a solution to keep the cap from popping off (if mine even does, maybe they fixed the issue?)

I have an eGo and some left over cartos that I will use up for when I am out and about. I hope to have a solution for the Z Atty cap before I run out of cartos. Maybe a thicker o-ring?

Do you have Super T drip tips? If so, how do they fit on the Z Atty?

Thanks!
