Hi everybody,

I am 59 nine years young. Started smoking about 45 years ago, graduated to 2 to 3 packs a day. I gave all the patches,
pills, hynotism, gum, you name it I tried it. It did not kill the maniacal urge to smoke.

Well guess what, a friend of mine, ironically a nonsmoker gave me the info from a buddy of his that had success quitting the "analog" cigarette. I am learning already, (analog).

So new guy, I did the wrong thing right off the bat. I ordered an e cig off line that was a pretty good deal . A starter kit for only a few bucks less than a hundred dollar bill.

Well I quit smoking, but the cost was exhorbant. $45.00 for cartridges, but they last as long as a pack of cigs each. (My eye!) It was worth it, I was off cigs.

I found ECF trying to find info on e cigarette smoking, what a blessing.

I found new delivery devices, great prices, and great vendors.

Today has been a little over three months cigarette free!

In the interm, I have learned to buy the right e cig device for me, mix my own juice, and to day I was so happy to rebuild a Stardust Clearomizer that worked great after the second rebuild.

JUST CROWING NOW.

Thanks for reading my rant.:)

Wow, congratulations :toast:

I just hit one month & I couldn't be happier - I feel a bit like crowing too! I'm pretty darn proud of myself ;)

I haven't advanced as far as you (mixing your own juice & rebuilding clearomizers - I wouldn't have a clue!) I'm still happily vaping along with my cartomizers - learning to refill them has been my only accomplishment thus far - and am trying out all kinds of new juice flavors - I'm in flavor heaven!

Thanks for sharing your story - it helps me so much to hear of everyone's successes!
