It took me 2 months to finally give up the stinkies.
I think that if vaping can help someone who really wants to quit smoking then it's a great thing and I've read a lot of people who seem to have done it quite easily after they found vaping. It certainly helps a lot here.
But I also think there's a lot of us who vape and smoke. I don't think its all about the quitting smoking. When I first found an ecig it was about being able to get some nicotine when I couldn't smoke and it worked very good at doing that, which lead me to looking further into liquids and vaping. I never wanted to quit smoking because I like it but I stayed with the vaping because I like that also. Nothing wrong with doing both.
Got a "cheap" ego/carto tank/bottle of juice and POOF No More Cigs.
So, you mean magic trick fast? Good trick!
:snicker:about a week five months ago..we had three a day for about four days, that fifth to seventh..one with coffee and that's IT, gave it all away to a friend who smokes who didn't want to quit...rolling machine, pounds of tobacco, tubes, cases.lighters, etc.
best day ever, stomping out the ciggie and buying a vape.![]()
:snicker:
I had bales of tobacco I gave away. My top o matics had custom kydex hoppers I installed on them so I could make a carton or two of cigs without reaching back in the bag to make the tobacco dry and stale. I gave away over a dozen cartons of tubes alone.
I got into vaping so I could be indoors and with my kids more. Smoking had me outdoors nearly all day, every day. Going to the movies was pointless and a simple dinner out or grocery shopping necessitated several smoke breaks.
When I started vaping and realized it might help me quit I decided I'd vape whenever I got the urge and if it didn't cut it I'd have a cig or three and go back to the routine. I was a 4 PAD smoker until nov. 3rd, 2013. by the 17th I was done with cigs altogether and couldn't stand the smell of smoke. In that 2 week stretch, I smoked 12 cigarettes.
I didn't plan on quitting. I just let it happen
