Nice choice op, have had mine for about 2 weeks now and love it just as much as day one. I'm still stuck on voltage mode though cuz I seem to like different flavors at different power outputs.
I agree with the lightsaber comments, though my sister in law just told me the other night it looks like the caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland... Not sure on the resemblance there - just made me really want to try Alice in Vapeland's punkin tumble :)

Really considering getting this from FT to replace my kr8 newb mistakes. Any feedback as far as smoke generation goes between the Vamo and the cig-likes?
no comparison...cigalikes just don't have the oomph, can't dial in the perfect vape..yea they are HUMONGOUS compared to cigalikes but they are are powerhouses compared to cigalikes

I absolutely LOVE my Vamo V3...advanced options to do Variable Wattage VW vs a static power setting and that's it

Cig alikes can be useful for stealth vaping...but when I want to hit and get it...I go to the Vamo or the 5vdc USB bypass rig...

Still enjoying the vamo. Been leaving it at 6w with the t2 clearomizers and every flavor comes out in a tasty thick white haze. I felt I needed more today so I went out and purchased a protank 2.........I think that will look mighty fine a top my light saber. My black and white cookie from alice in vaporland should be here today too. Sounds like a great way to break in the new tank

Congrats on the new V3. I have one and another on the way from FT. My only "hint" would be: It's easy to accidently bump the small adjust buttons. If it's not vaping like it should or, if it starts to taste burnt, check the volt/watt setting. Don't know how many times I thought I needed to replace the coil only to find that I had somehow hit the up/down buttons and it just needed reset. Other than that, I love it.

volts - watts, tomato - potato.

Ive been running my vamos on volts since day one and i still dont see a reason to use watts. I use the same ohm heads always and i know what i like. I tried the watts thing a couple different times and contrary to what is stated, it is not the same hit IMHO, dont ask me why. Its just what i found experimenting on mine. i bounce between 3.6 and 4.1v depending on the hit i want at the moment with 2.5ohm heads and its perfect. Use what works for you, everyone is different.

And congrats on the Vamo. Ive got 4 of them and they rock!!

Using the wattage on RBA and RDA is fine. But, on delivery systems like kanger protank and t3, the resistance can sometimes waver. This may be due to the fact that the legs are secured with the rubber grommet and the pin. It can happen on some heads, even if I recoil it myself.

Hence, before firing, the resistance might read 2.2 ohms. A short fire and it drops to 1.8 ohms. So sometimes the first vape MIGHT taste burnt.

So I don't fiddle with wattage mode anymore.

Glad to here you like it. I ordered one that should be in tomorrow or the next day. It will be my first APV and like you I'm beyond excited!

The wait! lol I think you'll like it, my wife loves hers, it is a personal defense mod :p but its very well made and works like a charm for her.
