I ordered my ego last night!! Wooo hooo. Now I cant wait for it to get here. Sooo very excited!!
I bought that cheap x hale from 7-11 to see if I liked it and it did great the first night but now it doesnt seem like I get a good th and the vapor is almost none. I sure hope that the ego is better.
Now for the questions again...lol:?: I didnt buy any liquids yet, not really sure how to use them yet. Should I buy empty carts? How do I put liquid in an empty cart?? I guess what holds the liquid? Also I saw where someone was using something called a mega cartridge w/ blue foam from petsmart, dont mean to sound dumb, but what do they do with that?????
I like my menthol flavor and wondering if I want to use a flavor with my menthol, can Ijust add a little flavor to the cart? Do I need a seperate atty for different flavors?

If you have ever refueled a Zippo lighter you can refill a cartridge even easier.... I bought some of the blue filler\filter stuff at Petco yesterday and it takes a bit of work, but if cut it to the right size it will slide into the cart and hold the e-juice in there.. I am very new to all this as well, but like above 'Get a drip tip or two' very easy. Have a look at Miss Nomads video about juices (all of her videos have helped me.)
YouTube - E-CIGS FOR BROKE PEOPLE! Part 2 - Juice, juice, what do I do about juice?

Congrats on your eGo I love mine! and yes, get a mix of juice to start with, but don't go crazy with 'em and fill all your carts at once (LOL) you won't know which is which.

Congrats on your purchase! You sound like me, I bought an Njoy Npro from a Pilot truck stop because I desperately wanted to try vaping, and once I saw that I could quit cigarettes by vaping I ordered a Joye510 and I've been using it ever since. I still use carts, I just refill them myself with e-juice. Check out cignot for your supply needs, they have the lowest prices (that I've found), super fast shipping and great customer service. I can't answer your question about needing seperate atty's for different flavors cause I've been stuck on mint since I started!

Congratulations!!!!
It is very simple, when you get your kit, you will see just how easy it is. Dripping is the easiest, but not always the most convenient, some people like cartomizers (a combination atty and cartridge), they are the easiest, but I don't want to spend the extra money on the them myself. I use carts.

When the carts come in the kit they are either prefilled (most people don't like the taste of prefilled carts) or "Empty" which means that they should only have white filler in them, though I did get one of my kits and they didn't have filler,,,,grrr. Anyway, the white filler waste alot of juice and it is more likely you will get a mouthful of juice if you use it and I have used it before and had it burnt to the atty. When we talk about "blue foam" we refer to a filter material they sell at pet shops for aquariums. The brand is Marineland Rite Size U, filter sleeves. I use this because it hasn't given me better results that any other filler. You need to wash and dry it thoroughly and then cut the foam to the size of cartridge, a bit shorter, but you don't have to be picky, it's very versatile. It is all personal preference, alot of people do it there own way, but I just cut it and stick it in then when I want to fill the cart I push the blue filler down, put some juice in and then pull it back up to the top with a toothpick and then top the cart of (topping the cart off means dripping juice so that the top of the cart will look like a slushie)

I tend to only use two atties, but very rarely use strong flavors that can't be vaped off in a couple minutes with a new flavor. If you want to vape different flavors, it's a good idea to get spare attys for strong juices such as rootbeer, menthol, cinnamon...and to use one atty for that strong flavor. You can choose whatever juice sounds good to you. You may have to try several to get your "go to" vape. I would suggest you buy more than the recommended 60ml. Try to buy samples of a wide variety of juices. In my personal experience, vaping flavors is different that eating them. I don't particularly like peanut butter, but I absolutely love to vape it. I love to eat cinammon, don't like to vape it often. I love thin mint cookies, peppermint patties, mint-chocolate chip ice cream, but can only vape a bit before I need to stop.

Thanks for your help, all of you.
Sainted that is some very much neede hlp...ty.

Now I have decided to get a Carto because of the fact I am on the go alot, any ideas where the best place to buy one?

Thanks

If you order some juice samples from FreedomSmokeUSA they carry cartomizers as well, it will save you some shipping costs if you do both from one site. Many places sell cartos, this is just one option.

Good choice!

I bought that cheap x hale from 7-11
I did the same. They crap out pretty quick. Try changing the cartridge, or worst case take the whole kit (empty carts included) and your receipt and exchange it for a new one at 7-11 while you're waiting for your new kit. They're too cheap to bother with too much troubleshooting.

Should I buy empty carts?
I say start with cartomizers, they're the easiest, IMHO. Also, watch vids from DoctorVapor and MistressNomad on YouTube to see how it all works. Also, pick a supplier from the approved vendors on the Forum Suppliers list above, and order at least half a dozen 5oz bottles and try a bunch of things. I am a menthol lover too, but I was pleasantly surprised with waffles. And yes, you can mix flavors easily too. I would try to use different attys or cartos if possible, but I've found that if you vape until the vapor fades a bit, the new liquid flavor pretty much overpowers what was in there before after a few breaths.
