You guys where great first of all. But I just couldn't get through taste, i will try again next month when i get some cash and going to try tobacco flavors. As a newbie i think you should tell other first timers maybe to try samplers not buy any one flavor. Stay vaping see u again, i am sure !
Sorry to hear that. What flavors did you try? I started with tobacco/menthol flavors, some I like, some I don't, but I'm still in this catagory,

Well i tried cool, american menthol and mbor menthol, i love kool milds but can smoke non menthol i think i am going to try a plain tobacco in Jan. hope its close to taste of reg. smoke then i should be ok i hope.
We all have different tastes, I really like the Hilton, when I refill I always add a couple drops of menthol or mint too. I like cowboy with menthol as well. I smoked Kool 100's. RY4 is not one of my favs, I'm not much into sweet e-cig juices. You are not alone in your quest to find the "it" flavor, I know it cost me quite a bit, but I now have it down to a few. I like to try the new flavors, but always go back to what I know. Wish you luck.

I have trouble with flavors. None of them taste the way I thought they should. They are either too sweet or too harsh. If I mix them myself they usually taste awful. I follow the ejuice calculator to mix but they stil taste bad. Right now all I use is premixed camel, marlboro and vanilla. My taste buds must be shot after 40 years of smoking marlboro reds.

Hey Martha,

It took my wife about 5 days to get over the taste. I think it's tough to get a true smoke flavor without actually smoking. We both smoked Menthol, and I've found that the menthols are very minty, but not necessarily smokey. I'd just keep on keeping on until you get used to flavor. Maybe just smoke the e-cig every other craving for a while. I've found now that I truly enjoy the sweet candy type flavors, while my wife still enjoys straight menthol (and a super strong cinnamon that I custom mixed).

Hi JustAlex; Sorry to here about your rough patch. Keep trying ,even if you vape a little and smoke a little. You will still be better off. If you haven't tried 555 give it a shot. It has a mild "true" tobacco flavor. Cowboy and Hilton had a weird nutty flavor to me not like any smoke I ever smoked (not bad just not like a ciggy). 555 is the closest I have tried. Kamel has a very strong tobacco flavor. Cuban cigar is kinda in between fairly strong too. Like them all!!. 555 is a nice go to and a good place to start. I have to go with the other suggestions on ordering the sample packs. Remember this does not have to be all or nothing. That will take care of it's self when you find the right flavors. Be patient. Goodluck!!!!

P.S. maybe if you post the nic level and flavors you have in mind here or in the carto swap thread some us can hook you up.

Everyone's taste is different, but I needed the tobacco flavor, not the sweets yet, to feel comfortable, so I've tried several - 555 and Parliament definitely do the trick for me. Cowboy is good, but for all day, every day, 555 does it. Everyone says your tastes change regularly, and maybe next month I might be into the sweet stuff, but for now, tobacco is what I need........and I'm waiting on the postman to hopefully deliver today (Christmas mail has slowed everything down - I thought I ordered in plenty of time, but ran out of juice and been smoking over the weekend more than I wanted to)........good luck, don't give up.
