i don't get the post count rules?!

can anyone clarify for me the post count rules?

what forums can i NOT post in from 6-10?

i just don't like to post a lot of crap, but the problem is i have a few canada specific questions that i'd like answered and the forum doesn't seem to want to let me post in that forum, or the general forum for that matter....

Members are restricted to posting in the New Members Forum only, can not use Private Messaging, and can not have a signature.

5 to 15 posts:
Members can post in other forums and use Private Messaging.

15 posts and above:
Members can post in all forums, and can now have a signature.

70 posts and above:
Members can no longer start new threads in the New Members Forum, but may post in threads started by others.

The post count is to stop a lot of spamming that would happen. It stinks, but we all had to go through it.

I understand why they have the rules just makes me post dumb replies like this to keep upping my post count. When truly we aLl can figure out that it's annoying and that I truly have no opinion to share on the topic.

Welcome to all of you. In my opinion everyone, including new members, has something that can be of benefit to others. You can always help welcome new members or, if you have been reading other areas of the forums, suggest/link areas where you found some good information about a question or help answer a question. Your post count will rise faster than you think.

Why do they value other forums more than the newb forum. You would think spamming in the newb forum would be just as damaging

It isn't valuing other forums more, it is containing it to the one area so the Mods don't have to go chasing it down all over ECF.
