Ok, so I ordered the "artesian starter DIY kit" from One Stop DIY shop. As I posted in my other post, I received the "equipment" portion of the order, but not the flavors or VG. I called OSDIYS and told them that I hadn't received the liquids and they said that they would send it right out. A working week passed and I still didnt get my product. I called Kimberly and she told me that she sent me an e-mail telling me what was up but since I was on the phone she would fill me in. I never received that e-mail, btw.
Kimberley told me that, upon reviewing her records, she saw that the package that they sent to me had a postage they paid in the amount of $7.95, which is the "regular" price for a full kit, so they never re-sent the liquid out. She assured me that each box was weighed before the postage was printed and there was no way that an error could have been made and I assured her that, all I got was the equipment part of the order sans any liquid.
It got kind of weird at that point. Awkward pauses in the conversation made me feel like she thought that I was trying to pull a fast one over her, and I am sure that she felt that I was on the verge of calling her a liar (which I wouldn't do. I have never done business with them before and have no reason to think that she would lie to me).
So after a bit of awkwardness, she said that she would call the post office and see if the box was checked in at the weight that she paid for on monday.
All I want to do is start trying my DIY liquid making already. I have been waiting for a while to do this.
What can I do if she calls and says that the post office didnt weigh the box or that they have no idea whats going on? I paid about $35 dollars for the complete kit and do not have a "complete kit".
Kimberly was nice enough on the phone but, what if they refuse to send me the liquid that I paid for on account of what the post office might say? What recourse do I have? I haven't opened the packages that the equipment came in. They are patiently waiting to be used.
I don't know what to do.

If USPS was used and not a re-mailer like Stamps.com then the correct weight should be on it. If you have the unopened box, weigh it and compare. Then at least you'll have better info on which to base your claim. If your package was damaged or opened and some of the contents were lost or stolen you should still be able to smell something of the concentrates. I know when I get stuff from DIY I can smell it before I open the package.

it looks to be USPS and about the smell... There was none, and I ordered "Caramel Cappucino" which someone thought that it would be strong enough to annotate on the receipt that it would be strong... in fact, as I am sitting here, I am sniffing the "equipment" (at the weird looks from my wife) and smell nothing. Incidentally, I ordered the caramel, strawberry, vanilla bean and Canteloupe...

Wow, this sounds very unusual for OSDIY. I have done business with them in the past and never had an issue which does not help you out at all. I hate to say it but, I print postge from home and I have never had the USPS weigh it after I have mailed. I know for a fact that they did not on at least a few occassions. Have you tried posting in their subforum here at ECF?

I really hate that you are going through this and hope that it resolves for you soon. Kim has always been great to work with but I have never been missing 1/2 my order either. Do keep us posted and give a try posting in their subforum. Good luck!

Your recourse in a situation where the supplier won't make their mistake right you have the option to complain or seek legal recourse. Since the price we are talking about doesn't much justify the trouble of legal recourse, you have to fall back on sharing the facts of your experience with others, to allow people to better judge the quality of customer service from the supplier. It may affect their ability to sell products. This is how the market works. If you're one out of 10000, it's a drop in the bucket, but things add up. Maybe they had a bad day.

I feel badly for you. It sucks to feel like someone thinks your lying. Killnine is right.. Just wait n see what happens and leave them a bad review if they don't fix it. I had this same thing happen with smok tec once but they had sent me the wrong size tank. I was lucky that they take pics of every order they send out so they knew I wasn't lying. I was bummed that they made me send back the wrong tank before they mailed out the right one tho. It probably cost them 2 bucks but it cost me that much in time and gas to send the wrong one back. I haven't ordered from them since.

I don't understand. Did they ship in only one box? If so, how can you be sure it's not all there if you don't open the box?

Did you ask how many boxes, what size(s), and what weight they shipped?

Go to the post office and weigh the box. If it matches the correct weight, open it. If it weighs significantly less, write "return to sender" and let the post office send it back to them. Then call OSDIY and tell them that you refused the package because it was the wrong weight and that they need to either send the correct package or to refund your money.

That's what I would do anyway.

No, that's not true. I would have torn the package open as soon as I received it without even thinking about the consequences!
