Hello All,

I was just about ready to give up on sourcing PG locally. For whatever reason I was determined to find it locally rather than ordering online like I do all of my other vaping supplies.

I went to 3 walgreens, 3 CVS, Michael's Art Supply, a cosmetics store, a bakery and 2 Walmarts. I asked the pharmacist (where applicable) and received a variety of responses and bewildered looks.

The one time I was honest about what i would be using it for, the pharmacist told me it was Antifreeze and I should look in the automotive department. :glare: I didn't bother telling her that is also used in lotion, personal lubricants, and food.

I had decided that Target would be my last stop and luckily it was. I asked the pharmacist there about it and she began to show me to the polyethylene glycol (laxative) as a few others had. I restated my need: Propylene glycol. When she asked what I needed it for I told her that my girlfriend was making a scented hand conditioner and that she would LOVE me if I could get it for her. She then said let me see if I can order it. Sure enough, she ordered 16oz for me for $16. I think I got her with the sweetheart routine :)

She said it would be in tomorrow or the next day. I don't think I could have gotten it shipped that fast.

I can't wait to start mixing my own juice. I've got a couple flavors that I'd really like to imitate.

Hahaha. I'm not 100% sure on the size, but i will report back. I was just so happy that someone finally helped me. The price seemed better than what I recalled seeing on wizard labs and amazon. Who has the best price you've found, WCSR?
Actually... Tractor Supply Company carries 1 gallon jugs of uncut USP PG for $20. Same stuff you'd buy through a pharmacy. But I already looked, and there are no Tractor Supply Company locations in your area (Las Vegas).

Aside from TSC... Pharmacy really was the cheapest I've found. 960ml for $16 (1.6 cents per ml). Wizard Labs has 500ml for $9.49 (1.9 cents per ml).

I'm betting they ordered you a 32oz (960ml) bottle. Which should last you through the apocalypse.

We have a JFA (joint farmers alliance, i think) which is similar to tractor supply co. I'll have to stop in there sometime and check.

There is a feed and supply place on rancho and craig on the south east corner , The only other one I know is a place On Durango all the way up north past 95 and Farm rd. Its in a small shopping center with a taco bell . I don't know the names of either :p but next time I'm close I'll stop in and let you know.

I haven't been to my local tractor supply yet to buy PG since I'm still using what I have on hand. I was intrigued by what the Tractor Supply would have gallons of USP PG for and did a little research. Maybe what I found can give you a new way to look for gallons of USP PG.

What I found out was that certain dairy cows experience depression in or around the time they calf. For whatever the reason PG is mixed into their food with other prescribed treatments to help this problem. That's why the tractor supply has it. I wonder if any horse/livestock type shops would carry it?

Just trying to help.
