I Don't Like Waiting

Hello all, I am new to the e-smoking world and am patiently awaiting my package to come in. I bought the black DSE901 and the USB crossover thing so I don't waste batteries sitting at the computer (Where I spend pretty much my whole work day). So far I have been lurking these threads and have read some good information about cleaning and watched a lot of reviews of different products available.

Background information about myself, 26 years old. In the military and about to go on another deployment, my goal was to quit smoking before this and thusfar have failed.. Cold turkey and gum work for some but not for all. I am hoping this e-cig will at least get me to stop smoking, what is the word I read a lot on this site, analog cigarettes? I'm not sure if anyone has served on a naval ship but spend 5 minutes in a crowded smoke deck with about 50+ other smokers and when you leave every part of your body and clothes STINK for the rest of the day.

Getting to my Title its been 2 days since I ordered my e-cig. Tracking says its going to be here on thursday but the wait is killing me. I order a ton of stuff for my motorcycle over the internet and have really never had a problem with waiting but the sooner I get this thing the sooner I can start enjoying nicotine again without couphing up nasty stuff when I go on my 4 mile runs.

<-------- I have found my favorite smiley!!!!

Welcome aboard Jeremy! (Little play on words there? haha)

The analog is a regular cigarette.

And as far as waiting...it's always a biotch! Especially when waiting for something new (as opposed to a part). And it really doesn't get much better as you go along....lol

But once you get started, at least you'll have something to use while you're waiting. Just make sure you have plenty of spares so you don't get stuck without a working device because one part failed and now you have to wait for a replacement.

Good luck with the new venture....and kudos to your being in the military!

I feel your pain. Waiting on my first 901 which was apparently in customs all day yesterday 3 hours south of me. Motorcycle parts, that I dont have to worry about because the supplier I use is is in Minnesota, so I always have them next day. Hopefully my 901 had a scan missed on its way north and will be here today, although coming from China, I honestly was expecting it to be longer anyway. For some reason though, when I track mys package and see they are close by, I get even more impatient! Best of luck, and hope your wait isn't long.

Are you going to take your e-cig with you?

That's the plan, I'm going to stock up on spare parts before I go and have the wife send me bottles of juice when I am running low. Unless they ship FPO-AP then they can send it straight to me.

I am not too interested in quitting, I am addicted to nicotine so I would like to have my fix, but if this could help me cut back on my nicotine intake then that would be a pluss. I do not like the way smoking affects my running, So hopefully this will help with that. I plan on vaping in my office aboard the ship so I won't have to wait in long lines just to STINK afterwards.

I updated the tracking info and they say it will be here today 3/18 so I itching to get it and start charging them batteries up.

I smoked while I was in the army and I can remember empty'n a whole lot of .... cans and scrubing them out. I will say in your branch you can get to a place to charge it up a lot easier then i could have. Good luck sea-man (sorry didn't know rank)
