I wish someone would invent a tank which could prime the atomizer with 2-3 drops. Thus eliminating the need for a wick and dripping so often. I don't see why it isn't already around. All you need is a button which fills to exactly 3 drops and squirts it into the atomizer on push.

Am I over simplifying this issue? I've yet to hear of anyone who actually likes their wick.

waipahu, hi
They've been around for years, the REO being the most popular. Drip from a 6 ml bottle, all day long, one-handed, even while driving, by squeezing the tank. Any excess in the atomizer drains back into the tank. Learn more in the Reos Mods sub-forum.

Oo I did not know this. Ill be looking into reo for a daily/work mod then. Any others similar?

There is a 'Liquid Feed' sub-forum in the APV section. The Vmod and Bogger Box are popular at the moment, but there are other ones around. Here's an example: Sweet Vape variable voltage feeder

Reo again. It's not a tank but it's built like one. It's what I take to work every day. The finishes are very durable but if you work in an environment where it might get scratched easily Rob sells a "tumbled" raw version with no finish (which is what I use). If it's not in stock just e-mail him.

Be warned...once you have one you may want another.

The REO is probably the best Bottom fed device on the market right now (for its price)
You can get a REO for 115 bucks in REO's scratch n dent section. (rarely a visible scratch or dent)
Otherwise, you can get a cheap 115 reo mini. they take 14500 batteries, so you'd need like 4 batteries.
I love the 14500 and I cant wait to get a regular sized REO. These mods make life easy. Trust me.

Then you have other bottom fed mods. Theres the nice wooden one that was posted above.
I find that most of the mods that can come close to REO on quality, are usually around the same price.
So I'd go with a reo over a wooden mod that works like a reo, but thats just me.

If you already have tube mods that you drip with, then you can sort-of turn those tube mods into Bottomfeeds.
You can get the smoktech diver, which is a rebuildable atomizer inside of a tank. (pretty cool check it out)
Or you can just get into the clearomizers, like the BCC clearos. (bottomcoilclearo) Like Kanger T3 or evod or protank.

My best advice to you, is if you have some money to spend on something that will make vaping much easier...
While also being a good investment (resale value typically is same as new) The REO mod is what you need to research!

I just did this since I'm hard on devices on the go and didn't want to mar my powder coated Grand. Rob got me a tumbled on the way fast. He made two more (tumbled Grands) and they're in stock now.

Ssshhh! You're not supposed to tell newbies that--might scare 'em away if they find out REOs are as addictive as [edit: reference to hard drug omitted in compliance with forum rules] and they might soon gladly sell all their other vaping gear to support the habit.

Have you tried a Reo yet Bad?

I've not tried a Reo yet. I have the VMod-XL and like it alot. I'm getting nearly 2 days on a AW 18650 2000 mAh IMR. The 9 ml tank lasts me nearly 3 days between refills if that's the only device I'm using. Fits in a pocket, doesn't leak; the full unadulterated flavor of a drip atty with the convenience of a tank - what's not to like about that?

Vapage often has discount codes available for 30 - 50 % off. I only paid $60 for mine, so I got a custom shell with the money saved. Current code "VY2T5" is for 50% off.

VMod-XL with custom faux burrel wood shell and Sagewood Glass drip tip.

We should probably try to tell new vapers looking for their first mod, that REOs are basically what they should be looking at... I mean.. You can get your Provari or your Evic or your even get your XXXmogwaivela Brass 2nd edition if you happened to see one in the classifieds and you can afford it... But your going to vape on your PV for.... 3, maybe 4 months, and then your going to wake up in cold sweats. You'll be freezing, but your body will be sweating bullets.. so you'll cover yourself, and you'll overheat, so you'll throw off the coves in a violent rage and lay there, desperately trying to get that last hour of sleep before work... but your left leg will start to twitch, and then in one fool swoop, your right leg will straiten out, then your left leg will kick, then your right leg will kick, and you wont know what the heck could be happening to your body, till its too late. Yes, when its too late. You'll get up out of bed with no energy, you'll stumble to the toilette, kneel down before it- (the nausea is unbearable) and you'll bend over the toilette and say to yourself "hm, I think I want to try one of them REO's Mods" and that'll be it. You gotta be careful with this shiet meng. You don't choose a REO, no, the REO choose YOU.
