I think you'll enjoy the heft of the REO with battery. WRT aluminum vs stainless, when dropped from the same height (and assuming aerodynamic drag is equal), the acceleration and impact speed will be the same. The impact energy that must be dissipated by the heavier device (and/or whatever it impacts) is higher. FWIW

I look forward to falling in love with my reo

but i still hold to the provape idea

I just like the feeling of a heavy, sturdy device

if they came up with a bottom feeder with a 5 amp limit that delivers a max of (at least) 15 watts, like the kick 2, I'm so in

I know the provari gets a lot of love and hate on ECF, but very few of the detractors actually use lack of quality, durability & bad customer support as an argument (most complain about price, but hey, they should take a look at this puppy right here: Otto Carter Engraved Brass Gear Mod - Otto Carter

I said it before and I will say it again. My problem (mine alone not speaking for anyone else) with the Provari is that it does not do VW. I do not use VV at all. I use VW. So for me personally the Provari is a bad choice. If they ever come out with a VW model with the same quality then I will be all over it.

Tell us about atty's for the Reo?

As a proud member of the Curmudgeon Club, I've actually saved a lot of money after my switch to vaping. I keep it simple and avoid shiny things. However, I am willing to blow the dust off the wallet for something like this.

I like things super simple. Even if rebuilding is as amazing as everyone says, I am currently content at my level of amazement and don't have time.

These are what I use:

Low Resistance (LR) Atomizer - 306
Joyetech Joye 510 Atomizer (if I want it cooler)
Cartomizers : Super Shorty 510 1.7 ohm

I've not tried a Reo yet. I have the VMod-XL and like it alot. I'm getting nearly 2 days on a AW 18650 2000 mAh IMR. The 9 ml tank lasts me nearly 3 days between refills if that's the only device I'm using. Fits in a pocket, doesn't leak; the full unadulterated flavor of a drip atty with the convenience of a tank - what's not to like about that?

Vapage often has discount codes available for 30 - 50 % off. I only paid $60 for mine, so I got a custom shell with the money saved. Current code "VY2T5" is for 50% off.

VMod-XL with custom faux burrel wood shell and Sagewood Glass drip tip.

Dam Bad!!! im not one for gadget buying but im liking the looks of that VMod!!

Another old school tech is blue fluval in a cart. It works great and last a while between refills. I don't know if anyone else still does this but I do. I went back to it after being annoyed with the rest of just about everything.

I never heard of blue fluval in a cart.

Are you talking about the fabled blue foam from aquariums the old school people talk about?

I still use it every once and awhile - and I gave some to a friend just getting into vaping. That set-up is freaking easy to use and cheap.

You cut a piece of foam, shoved it into an empty cartridge tube, dripped juice onto the foam, and then smooshed it down onto the atty. The attys are the same as 510 dripping attys, that's what I learned with.

Despite the instructions, I never paid attention to how they lined up.
