Provari with a Squape clone, built at 1.8ohm running at 4.5 volts, nothing too crazy, but great flavor and clouds.

You are looking at the problem from the wrong end.

Does not matter if it is a Provari(nice choice), Vamo, Bolt 6.6v+ or a simple China clone Mod - even an eVic

What you want comes from the right combination of Atomizer/coil/wick/e-liquid and Air Flow

The topper MUST meet the proper combination to perform well.
The power supply simply needs to deliver proper current with minimal voltage drop to do its job.

If you Rock a 6v+ mod with a HR coil setup pumping 8 watts it is about the same as running a 3.8v with a LR coil at 8 watts.
Both power sources are producing the same 8 Watts.
It is what the Topper does with that power that gives you the end result.

Hopefully that title grabbed your attention. Just today I got my hands on a Provari with a Kanger Aerotank (5.3V setting, dual coil 2 ohm atty), and I loved the flavor it produced, but my 6.6V mod running a Smoktech dual coil 2 ohm carto produced more vapor. I'm at a crossroad, because I value vapor and flavor more than anything else in a mod, leaning towards vapor. Simply put, the Provari didn't live up to the expectations I had for it. Am I used to a higher watts setting, and that's what I need to focus on? Let it be known that my 6.6V mod wouldn't even get the Aerotank to fire, that also concerns me.

Could I use a RBA on my 6.6V Bolt? SHOULD I used a RBA on it? I feel cartos are becoming extinct.

This what "Over Hyping" causes.
