I drip. It's messy, options?

I have been vaping for a week now, after years of analogs. I don't work at a desk and need to have something in my pocket that doesn't leak. On the recommendation of a friend, I purchased an Icon With an 801. I drip, but if I have to go out in the field, and put it in my pocket, it leaks. I like the Icon, and at home it's great, but what are my options for when I'm working? Any help is appreciated.

Bottomfeeders would be ur best option .. Or check out the Apex Alpha from Innovapor. You can find out more info on the Apex Alpha on Innovapor's subforum.

As far as bottom feeders are concerned the most sturdy one is the Reo Grand/Mini. Good Luck!

I'd suggest you try cartomizers before moving on to a bottom feeder or tank mod. Not that theres anything wrong with them, I have both, but you may find cartomizers to be what you need. I've used them for over a year at 6v and theyre still what I prefer to carry to work.

Cartos man. Super easy and they don't leak, well they shouldn't. Put it in a plastic bag if your that worried

Checked out the apex alpha. Wow. And the price... Double wow. Looks amazing though. Maybe someday.

Regarding cartomizers, can I use one with my icon? Or do I need a whole new kit?

Sorry for the noob questions, but the thing I liked about the analogs were ease of use, always worked, portable. I don't want to go back to smoking.

+1 for cartomizers. They should come with end caps, you can easily carry an extra in your pocket if you put the end caps on after you fill it.

I agree, I think a juice fed system like the Reo or Ali'i or darwin are the best alternative.

Yes! If you have an 801 top cap I'd suggest getting an 801-510 adapter and some Boge LR cartos. Pop a drip tip on the end for easy refilling and you're good to go. You're still dripping in a sense but a LOT less often. They won't leak unless you really overfill them.

Edit: thinking about it, if you like the 801, you may want the regular resistance cartos. They don't run quite as hot and have better flavor.

Update. I have requested to return my ICON to puresmoker, but no answer yet. I'm within my 7 days. So hopefully they will honor that. (EDIT : just got an email, and the authorization to send it back, props to puresmoker for that. Thanks).

I'm really digging the alpha, and spoke with Tony from innovaper at length on the phone yesterday. Excellent customer service, and a really nice guy. It looks like it would be perfect for my needs. Very pricy though. 1st I'll have to see what puresmoker says about returning the ICON. I can't afford 2 high end PVs in 1 week.
