Bristow, Ok.
I was trying to clean juice that leaked on my transformer end cap when I dropped it down the sink. I couldn't get it out and ended up just pushing it on down the drain. My son couldn't get the trap loose and it broke. It is some weird old thing that we couldn't get the parts to fix over the holiday weekend. Hopefully tomorrow we will be able to get the parts and have a usable sink in the bathroom again. My Husband asked me if it was worth tearing up the sink for. My answer? You betcha. My GG is priceless.

I love this story lol.

I wish my husband was laughing out loud. I am very fortunate that the only time he ever got mad at me was when I put the baby skunk in his hat. He was so mad he was yelling and everything at me. It didn't hurt his old hat one little bit either. He never wore it again though.

Stormy, if you want to clean GG with soap, no problem, just unthread the button. Then wash it as hard as you want in every part of it. Put it on the sea too, no problem.

The button could be cleaned too but it's spring is not stainless steel so it will get corrupt. I couldnt find all these months a spring as I wanted, but I found it now. All GGs will have stainless steal spring inside the button so you can clean it with water and soap too.:)

If you clean GG with only soap it will be very shiny, try it and tell me
