Hello,

I went to take a "drag?" and felt something on my tongue. I was surprised to see a piece of plastic and realized it was the end cap of the cartridge mouthpiece, the part with the small hole. I didn't realize that the cartridge was not one single piece of plastic and had this part that could come loose. I recommend that everyone occasionally tap down on the very end that goes in your mouth to ensure it is not loose from the rest of the cartridge.

Is this a "whistle tip"? Do you tend to bite down on it? The pieces shouldn't pop out on their own, but if you often bite on the tip you could work it loose and have the problem you just ran into. Like jj2 said, I'd recommend just leaving that out of the cartridge (there may be a second piece inside, so get rid of that as well).

The tips need to be removable for cleaning.

I used to chew on my smokes sometimes, when I was mad or something I would bite down really hard, or just bite down when I was tryi g to hold on to it for so e reason, I did that once with my Joye 510 Mega cart, and ended up with pieces of plastic, and juice filling my mouth, I was one week into my vaping life, and this was the first (and certainly not the last) time I had gotten any juice in my mouth. I KNEW I was going to die from nicotine poisoning or something. I started spitting I to anything I could find on my way to the kithen to rinse out my mouth. I threw away the cart thi king it was defective or something, then I started examining all my other carts and saw that it was how they all were made. I havent bitten down on another mouth piece again, no matter how full my hands were.

Yep, that's how they're made allright. I wouldn't suggest you throw away the end cap for a while. If you take two deep vapes quickly in succession, it really heats up the atty, and if your have an abundance of juice near your atty, it will pop and spark onto your tongue. Ouch - it really stings and hurts. As a new vaper, I had blisters on my tongue and lips. Once I got through the learning curve on how to suck softer, I was okay.

But then as you get some vaping time logged in, you will usually remove the end cap anyway and start dripping through it like I do.

And welcome to ECF Curly. I hope you stay with us for a while.

yeah - dangerous

You can use a plastic drip tip as a mouthpiece on a carto - V4L sells ones for KR808D-1 (I have the black delrin and it is really nice) and I found my clear colored plastic one for 510/901 from LiteCigUSA.net also fits my V4L cartos. With the end caps I usually have my lips pressing against the edges of the cap a bit and have not had one pop out that way.

I also do not use automatic batteries so I don't have to suck hard to get vapor.
