I feel like I know some of you here already...

Intro post! Me: I'd huffed the coffin nails on and off for twenty years. Back in May, quit my whittled-down-to-fairly-mild habit of about a quarter pack a day of American Spirit Ultra-Light. As usual when quitting, I didn't miss the nicotine but I seriously missed the oral habit. Had heard of e-cigs but previously didn't realize that they were available in 0 nic; when I heard that they were I thought ah! this might be really useful for me to prevent relapse. Purchased a Blu. Experienced my first taste of burnt polyfill, ew!! Googling around, discovered the ECF, read rabidly while puffing through crappy Blu batteries. Purchased an Ego-T despite warnings of inconsistency, because I simply didn't want to deal with cartos after my Blu experience. Loved it at first. Then found out... everyone here was right! Wicking was an issue and I couldn't get the tank to work properly; wasted a ton of juice and time fiddling.

Fed up, but still wanting to make use of the stuff I had spent my money on, I yanked off my spike plates, bought a few LR attys, and became a dripper. Eventually, purchased a few Boge LR cartos for drive time. Learned to dewick the former, and to condom fill and taryn spin the latter. Am feeling more or less content with this eGo-based arrangement and am trying NOT to drool over the variable voltage Monkeyboxx. Oohhh... no! No distractions! (slaps self around)

I vape all VG juice (my guts do unspeakable things when I've vaped PG), anywhere from 0mg to about 12mg. I don't feel addicted to the nicotine "buzz" but I do have a super-strong oral fixation and I do love me some throat hit; without it I vape n vape n vape n vape and then wonder why my mouth is a desert and I'm out of juice! Current faves: Blue Mist Vanilla Tobacco, Vaperite Chai Tea, Johnson Creek Mercado, Cignot Basic Black Ice.
Om nom nom! No desire to ever pick up another analog. Feel that same missionary zeal I know y'all feel when encountering the "unenlightened" standing outside sucking in combustion fumes.

People here I feel like I know and owe so much to for all the knowledge (and entertainment!) they've bestowed: GrimmGreen, ShanB, pbusardo, The Vape Babe, Basilray, Vapor S. Thompson... and more!

Hello, comrades!

AltSmokeMom! Pleased to meet you. I ordered my eGo (my first proper PV) from Rob. To clarify: I was very happy with my purchase! My wicking issues were my own ignorance + a not-as-yet-perfected system by eGo. AltSmoke is a great vendor and I would order from him again. That's one of the things I like so much about this community; supporting small businesses run by dedicated people. Have had nothing but great customer service experiences.

Depends on where in Maryland you're at. If you're on the water somewhere I'm all for it, but if you're Silver Spring or some such I may have to pass. Taos is just about the only place in this country that could get me away from my Bay. I actually grew up on both sides, VA and MD. Family's been from around those parts since before Jamestowne, so you have to know how hard it is for a child of the water to be living in a place with hardly any. But at least I've got me a rivah to play on, no blue crab though.
