I have some questions (New to vapes)

Hello, this is my first post to a forum. I'm not really sure what kind of responses I will receive.

I have recently purchased a vape it is a KangerTech Black Edition subox Mini Starter Kit. I started out on a 12MG strength of E-juice and I love it. I would have mine on 50W as i used it. The guy at the store, who I must say was really informative told me to go n a lower temperature. I didn't listen because I liked it harsh.

Anyway, my question is why is it that I was on a 12MG on 50W of power toking lung fulls and feeling amazing to waking up one morning and it burning my throat. I had purchased a new coal or whatever it is you call it exactly. I also attempted to lower the dosage to 6mg and neither helped.. I still always felt a slight burn in my throat. I want to not have that burning feeling.. Is it possible my Vape is not working and the guy didn't want to tell me that because i had purchased it so soon? or what can the case be? anything helps thank you.

Now, I'm not sure about the wattage thing. People are going to want to know what the ohm is of the coil. If you have that information, that will help others try to trouble shoot for you.

I'm not sure I can help, but 50w is kind of extreme (for a new vaper) i.m.o.
Maybe the coils are just not able to keep up. Can the coils really do 50w non-stop?
Anyway, 12mg @ 50w is lots of Nicotine consumption if you ask me. How much liquid are you vaporizing in a day? Are you sure about all this?

I have Subtank mini and with the new verticle occ coils I am using it at 35 watts. 50 watts seems kind of high

I would say you have just caused your throat to become sore. The harshness of 50watts at 12mg probably was overkill for a new vaper.

Start much lower and try to stay there for a while. Let your body adjust slowly.

Also, the type of flavor you are vaping could contribute to a harsh hit. What flavor are you vaping? And do you know the PG/VG ratio?
