subperceptual you do bring up an interesting point that I haven't given much thought to but it is true that another reason to vape is out of respect for non-smokers. If they aren't convinced as to why you would rather vape, you can explain to them that you could still be smoking and infiltrating their "space" with smoke and/or stink instead.

:thumb:

I don't even go quite that far anymore - when a non-smoker makes a comment or asks a question, I simply state that its a PV and I use it to be respectful of them. If they ask me to explain what a PV is, then I give them the spiel about vaping versus smoking. I've actually gotten a few thanks for being "thoughtful" ... LOL

I'm a firm believer in "Judge not, lest ye be judged." No matter what, certain people will always believe they are better than you, lead a healthier lifestyle or believe they know more about a certain topic than you do. That doesn't mean they are right, in fact, I think the public health panic about second hand smoke is more scare than panic but I won't get into that now.

I don't think I'm doing anything "wrong" or even that harmful to my health by vaping.

Very well worded, when a non-smoker says something like that to me, I tell them to quit something they have been doing for ages, like drinking coffee.

Almost everyone drinks coffee, they use it as a pick-me-up, use it as a crutch, and drink it frequently. Most people will tell you to pry it from their dead cold fingers. Point made.
