I finally get why people love drippers!
I've been working with my "beginner" APV setup for the past couple of months - an iTaste vv v3 - and I have about ten mini protank 2s and 3s that I rotate
throughout the week (as well as some failed Aspire ET-Ss and a failed mini Vivi Nova-S BDC that I should probably try to resurrect, as well as the decent-but-not-remarkable Smoktech Aro 2). I wanted something to make
juice tasting easier, so I picked up a little
$5 A6 single-coil dripper, as well as a Smoktech Dripper (of which I am not a fan). Wrapped some coils using 28g and 30g wire, wicked with cotton, but didn't get much out of the experience, wasn't really impressed, and chucked them in a drawer.
So yesterday, I finally drilled out the hole on the A6, packed more cotton into the deck, made sure my coil was dead-on with the air hole, cranked my little
vv v3 to 11w, and...
WOW! Huge clouds! Great flavor! Holy smoke! A friend tried it as well, and she choked on the vapor and handed it back to me.
Can't believe this little $5 piece of steel WAY outperforms my clearos, even on my "beginner" battery.
I should have a Stingray clone and a Sigelei 20w in my grubby little paws early next week - can't wait to see how this little ERA performs on them!
Imma happy vaper...
