Hehehe...I know what you mean, I started out with a ego c twist and a vivi nova about a year and a half ago (bleck). Went to a vamo, then a SVD itaste with a kayfun clone. About 3 months ago I got a copper nemmy with a ehpro atomic, and man it hits good. Just watch out for the hole in your wallet, last week I got an "authentic" setup, vanilla copper with a real mcv atomic....ohhhh its amazing.

I finally get why people love drippers! :D

I've been working with my "beginner" APV setup for the past couple of months - an iTaste vv v3 - and I have about ten mini protank 2s and 3s that I rotate throughout the week (as well as some failed Aspire ET-Ss and a failed mini Vivi Nova-S BDC that I should probably try to resurrect, as well as the decent-but-not-remarkable Smoktech Aro 2). I wanted something to make juice tasting easier, so I picked up a little $5 A6 single-coil dripper, as well as a Smoktech Dripper (of which I am not a fan). Wrapped some coils using 28g and 30g wire, wicked with cotton, but didn't get much out of the experience, wasn't really impressed, and chucked them in a drawer.

So yesterday, I finally drilled out the hole on the A6, packed more cotton into the deck, made sure my coil was dead-on with the air hole, cranked my little vv v3 to 11w, and...WOW! Huge clouds! Great flavor! Holy smoke! A friend tried it as well, and she choked on the vapor and handed it back to me.

Can't believe this little $5 piece of steel WAY outperforms my clearos, even on my "beginner" battery.

I should have a Stingray clone and a Sigelei 20w in my grubby little paws early next week - can't wait to see how this little ERA performs on them! :)

Imma happy vaper...

Good; and you didn't have to short out a battery to do it.

Big fan of the vanilla's but mcv(never). Get you a set of magnets for you switch and it'll only make it better...Just keep your contacts polished up.

Don't blow huge clouds and drive too. There's no catchy way to say that..

Lol! It's not even funny to imagine some dude accidentally blowing a huge cloud in his car and then freaking out trying to wave the vapor away with his hands and by blowing frantically. Not even a little bit. ;)

i'm just starting to regret the money i've spent on several expensive pyrex cartotanks, not to mention all the awful protank/evod tanks i couldn't make work right (tight draw, leaks at top AND bottom, inferior flavor). dripping is where it's at.. next stop: kayfuns.

I regret having spent so much on my mini pros as well (I could have bought several high-quality drippers and Kayfun clones with that money!), but I will say that they have done right by me. I have at least ten, none have ever leaked (even with lost gaskets), and the draw is wide open, IMO (which mutes the flavor a bit, I feel).

I've recoiled a lot of the single heads and stuffed with cotton, and that makes them even better. Haven't tried rebuilding the dual coils, but mostly because the coils in those look wound better and are easier to clean, so I haven't bothered.

The only build that has been hit or miss with me is a chimney coil - when it works, it's *really* nice, but leaks/dry hits happen a lot when they don't.

I figure I'm going to have to find a buyer for most of those tanks once I get into the RBAs, lol. Fingers crossed!
