Earlier this year, I had shown my brother how to 'roll ur own' ciggies,
and save some serious cash. I was buying bulk tobacco, and using a
cig machine and tubes to make my own. He liked the savings, and kept
a little plastic hand-held cig machine with him in his car, and would
make a ciggie whenever the urge required.

One day, while waiting outside the grocery store ..
( in another little town in Texas.. ) he was making himself some cigs,
and was approached by the local patrol. Seems someone in the store
had seen him 'rollin and smokin' , and thought he might be up to no good.

Nothing came of it, and it was quickly dismissed as nothing to bother with,
but some people just have too much free time on their hands,
and their noses in everyone else's business but their own.

Now he's vaping too... heh!
See what a (bad) influence you are, Rob! :D

I think that had alot to do with it..I kind of look like a "perp" anyway, so I figure I got stopped for possible suspicious activity. Didn't bother me though, and the cop learned about vaping so it was all ok. Arkansas is a small state, so anything looks suspicious here.

I tend to agree with Rob on this one, when innocents are involved, there needs to be law.

Rashby, PM sent.

Problem is, these little laws are stepping stones to other laws, each one of which takes another freedom away. How much of a stretch is it to get from protecting our children from our own stupidity to just protecting us from our own stupidity? If they can tell you its OK to legislate this, they can legislate your ability to smoke, drink, wear different clothes...there are risks in life, if we're not willing to take those risks, well there are other countries that will happily remove every one of your rights...

I'm on your side, trust me. I just feel when it comes to those who have no voice, we as a people need to represent them as best we can...I think that is why the no smoking with children in tow law passed. This is a state law, and I think most people in Arkansas agree that it is a good law.

That being said, there are loads of agendas out there I totally disagree with.

this is a bit off subject... but it goes to vaping in public... imo we should vape often in public encourage questions and answer to our best ability.... I am attending the community college in Newport (Or) and it is a smoke free campus, I still go outside to vape (though I have vape in the bathroom a few times....shhhhhhhhh) anyway, I am amazed at how many people come up to me and ask me what the heck i am doing... I then show them and tell them to look it up online and if they have any questions I will be around...

I vape in the casinos also, but gamblers are not as curious ...lol... I rarely get asked about my Janty there.

Getting the word out is important... getting more people to Vape is twice as important... imo anyway... ok getting off my soap box.... sorry

It is cool that the cop was polite... I dont get pulled over often but it seems that when I do the cop is always having a bad day...LOL
