Any flavoring that is oil based will probably be NASTY and bad for the atomizer if vaped. Only water soluble flavors should be used.
Yep - I ordered a few flavors from them. Got all excited about Angel Food Cake, Cookie Dough, Malted Milk Balls, and Cantaloupe. Then I looked at the ingredients. The first one is soy bean oil. They are now residing in my baking cabinet. I'm soooo sad ....

i use the flavorings from walmart such as mint and peppermint and they use spearmint oil in PG(nice coincidence) and i have no problems, so it works for me.

yeah...I know the party-line is to avoid any oil-based flavorings due to what it could do to the atty. however, we should keep in mind that when mixing fluids, the oil-based flavors are so potent that you are using miniscule amounts that might equate to like 5% (or less) of the fluid. other forum members have expiremented with oil-based flavorings and tracked their atomizer life and continued to report no ill effects.

HOWEVER, there was another thread (or mebbe it was a web-site) that did caution that there are certain oil-based versions to absolutely avoid due to the type of oil used. can't recall the specifics....but methinks it discussed vetable oil versus ___ oil versus ____. sorry...not much help...but suffice it to say, there should be some information about types of oils used in the flavorings.

Also, a thread in the TW forum talked about the threat of diacetyl (popcorn lung). This is usually found in butter and buttery-flavored food items, so some caution should probably be exercised when vaping such flavors.

But on the whole, I think it reasonable to keep in mind that the percentage of an oil-based flavoring to the rest of the ingredients and total volume of the liquid is small enough to minimize risks to atomizers and even to our own health. Just don't vape straight butter! :D

Day 33 of using nothing but Clove (OIL) in my atty and it still going strong. The first idiot that used oil in his addy probably used TOO much and it burned his atty out or it was a bad atty to begin with and propogated his warning to others who in turn held it as gospel.

I have 5 different attys, one in the car, the home computer, work computer, mobile and one dedicated for clove. With all of them I have used ejucies that I have added oil to, mind you only 3-4 drops (no more) is needed per 10ml. I have not had an atty die yet in 55+ days of using oil in my mixes.

And they are not nasty, have you tried any? The clove is AWESOME for those that like it and the pepermint (oil) with chocolate from cappellas rocks!!

I have been using Eugenal bought from the perfumist is a closer match to Djarum Blacks, as it is the oil used in clove cigarettes!

Get it here: Eugenol Natural - 2.5ml vial

You only need 4 drops per 10ml of ejuice and your there!

Boy, they have a lot of flavors. Margarita sounds great.

Will the oil dissolve in the PG/VG or would we need to shake it up?

We should ask them to make these in water soluble formula.

I can't wait til all those flavors are available for us.

Yes oil will disolve in PG/VG and the shake! It will cloudy at first but clear up quickly.

Awesome! I'm just going to plan on everybody being disappointed. That way if it's good, I'll be pleasantly surprised. Good luck Dan!

Ok I am not dissapointed, I tried 1 drop to 1ml of nic juice and the balance is about right to me. It taste like Mt Dew, but then again I dont peticulaly like Mt Dew. Will be trying the Dr. Pepper next (My Favorite!). BUT I LIKE IT!

I have a friend that LOVES Mt Dew and I will have him test it and report back.
