Ready to start mixing...but first I have a stupid question

Hi all. I'm ready to start mixing using plain nic juice and candy oils, but I do have one question. What is the issue with adding other, food safe liquids instead of candy oil. For example, mountain dew, coke, etc. Is there some chemical aspect I'm missing here. I can see them gunking up the atomizer, but is it wrong to mix other liquids with the nic juice?

Don't know! Haven't tried it, havn't heard anyone else trying it. Must be a reason. Have seen flavors of coke and Pepsi on lists of just flavors, so if they are making the flavors available for sale, means that they wouldn't if you could use the real stuff.

Some liquids can build up on your atty and be difficult to clean.
There are many ways to clean the atty so I am open to experimentation.
USA dealers have some attys for just over 6 USD so it is not the end of the world if you kill atty.

Most avoid non water soluble flavors that contain oil. You may be able to get away with a bit of oil. If all other cleaning methods fail you can always do a dry burn as a last resort cleaning attempt.

Also most people avoid using flavorings with sugar like coke, etc.

If you extract your own flavors be sure to run the extract thru a coffee filter.
