I feel very frustrated with myself. I smoked stinkies for two days and now I can't taste my vape. I think my nicotine is too low. I'm vaping at 6 mg. Any suggestions for a vape pen or tank for higher mg liquid? I need at least 12 mg I think. Any help is appreciated.
what device are you currently using?

I'll wait til we hear what you're using now before making suggestions, but I just want you to know that falling off the wagon is pretty common. There's no point in beating yourself up over it; just pick up the vape and carry on.

If you're interested in a new setup, can you tell us:
  • What you're using now
  • What you like about it
  • What you don't like about it
This forum is great at helping people find the equipment that suits them best.

We have a saying here on ECF and falling off the wagon:

"Its not how many cigarettes you smoked today that is important. Its how many you DIDN'T smoke that is."
Stay determined! Don't beat yourself up for falling off the wagon now and then. Just pick up where you last left off. A lot of folks here were dual users (vape and smoke) for weeks before they were able to stop smoking exclusively.

What about the nautilus by aspire? It's 1.8 ohm. I'd probably run it at about 12-13 watts.
MTL only. You could easily use 18mg in a Nauti. Bottom fill is a pita for me these days. You would need to use lower vg juices as well. Only you know what may work for you. Have you used mtl tanks before?

That would be an excellent choice.

It's been around for 2 - 3 years (a lifetime in the vaping world) and has been a favorite for new and established vapers. Replacement coils are easy to find. It's designed for mouth-to-lung vapers, which you likely are. Available in standard and Mini size. Only downside for me is it is a bottom fill tank, which means it needs to be removed from the battery device and turned upside down to add e-liquid. 10 - 15 watts sounds about right for this tank.

Until a couple years ago, its all I used. I was never tempted to smoke then. I just wonder what juice to get. I usually go max vg.

I'm not surprised that you were not getting satisfactory vape from such a low resistance coil and vaping at those wattages. I agree with the above suggestions, I don't have a SPECIFIC suggestion but perhaps a higher resistance coil (1.2 and above) with much higher nic content would help you more. There isn't a specific tank I'd recommend, but definitely something with coils in the resistance range of 1.2--1.8 (that gives you many options) and upping nic to 12 or more, if needed. Good luck, I am sure you will find something that works for you.

Don't beat yourself up for falling off the wagon either. That's not a real help and I know there are the few vapers who never smoked again, but I was not one of them. I encountered vaping at LEAST 6 years before finally getting success, and I still arrived at ECF with the wrong equipment for (me) gifted by my son who has quit vaping, but vaped sub0hm. I needed a MTL vape with high nicotine, and my starter MTL tank was the Nautilus 2. I also used WTA eliquid during my detox and it helped a lot. Umbavape has high quality WTA for low prices, Terry is giving you some excellent advice.

Good luck,

Anna
