Thank you! The vids are going now. :)
The second video I posted is a little outdated, concerning the coils between the Standard and Mini. The coils have gone through an evolution since that video was made. Both tanks are now using a BVC (bottom vertical coil) made with organic cotton.

I feel very frustrated with myself. I smoked stinkies for two days and now I can't taste my vape. I think my nicotine is too low. I'm vaping at 6 mg. Any suggestions for a vape pen or tank for higher mg liquid? I need at least 12 mg I think. Any help is appreciated.

Well I'm gonna go in a different direction because low power and high nic is why I kept going back to smoking. And to me 6mg is gross.

IIRC that tank you have is the Starre tank I used to LOVE. I preferred the .5Ω but the .25 is doable.

So you got what I consider a nice little rig there.

I'd score some 3mg and turn the power up. That tank at say 30-40w and 3mg will give you so much nic you'll never wanna smoke again.

Really? Cause I like my setup for the most part, just not getting enough Nic. I was thinking of doing white label if I kept my set up. They have good juice cheap. :)

I found it! Um would 65vg/35pg be okay? It's one of my fave.

Trying to fire up the way back machine here and as I recall that tank uses Atlantis coils also.

Now Atlantis coils are pretty much the universal vaping coil and are sold pretty much everywhere.

The Atlantis .5Ω large hole coil was a really good vape.

In fact I'm a gonna trot the Starre with a large hole Atlantis coil for old timers day if I can find the coils in the zombie box. The Starre is store in a place of honor as are all the tanks that worked really well in the smoking battle. This days I buy for sport but afew years ago the stuggle was real.

I started with 48MG nic low vapor. Went higher vapor over time and down to 3 mg. Probably getting close to the same amount of nic. I did around 1 ml a day with the 48 mg. I do around 15ml a day with 3 mg.

So there is a relation to volume of vapor and satisfaction on nicotine.

I find to much nic and/or to much pg is harsh and makes me cough and start looking for gas station that sell smokes.

Also low airflow. For G&G I built a Kayfun a couple weeks ago. Now Kayfuns have zero airflow for all purposes and I was using 3mg juice and the throat hit had me hacking up a lung.

Your tank has a very smooth airflow. Your choking it with high nic and low power. Let her have her head and run!!!!

Put some 3mg in there and turn the power up. I bet you an innerweb dolla you like it so much at first you get nic sick.

I checked my bottles! I thought it was 6 and it's 3 mg! I cranked the power up to 35 watts and I was satisfied in no time! Thank you!

I got the Starre down and found a .5 Starre coil.

Juiced her with 3mg 70% VG juice and she's a chuckin'.

But bottom fill??

For reals??

I'm hitting the .5 at 40w and the flavor is just bang on. This was my favorite tank for a long time. When I found it tonight it had the RBA head in it. Now I generally frown on RBA heads as I'd rather just use an RTA but this one was one of the better ones.

Hopefully this will do it for you now....... but if you still from time to time feel the need for more nic, maybe a nautilus with a higher nic just for those times you need it...the nautilus 2 has been working awesome for my brother recently and he really loves it...maybe have a bottle of higher nic on hand , so you don't go back to smoking.....overall you need to have enough nic and don't be pressured to go lower just because you see it in a lot of posts. Nic is very important to keep off the cigs

She seems settled so no hijack here.

I strongly disagree. I actually use and recommend a LOWER nic set up as a second (or in my case 37th).

That set up she has moves a lot of nic and it does it quickly and puts it rite where the body can use it fast. To be honest earlier I was using the same set up and I'm a heavy nic junkie and it was making me a little shakey.

Using powerful gear has allowed me to only vape as needed. IOW's if I have time I vape and if I don't I don't even think about it (yes as a smoker I was that guy, sneaking out for a smoke every time I could).

But when I have time I vape. And a powerful set actually gives me too much nic. So I have a couple tootle puffers set of. I don't worry about the nic in these as I don't really get any nic off tootle gear so some have 0mg and some prolly have 6 or maybe more (I make alot of juice and have odd bits of alot of different stuff haven't actually made any 12 in along time. Couple of 6 people though). I tend to just vape when say watching TV and my normal stuff will make me jumpy if chain vaped.

For driving I use a TFV8 with a .6 ceramic coil at 100w with 3mg juice. I have it timed just right because I vape a crap load while driving. If I get caught in traffic or delay I still hit that set up. And get sick and shakey.

High power low nic I what I suggest to people wanting to continue to use nic in a "safer" manner. To people wanting to make a clean break from nic I'd say low power and step down the nic and get to zero and stay there abit then quit everything.

For myself I sometimes wonder if I'm not using more nic then when I smoked. I was a very heavy smoker but at the claim 1mg per smoke its prolly a dead heat for me. But I don't wanna quit. Unless I'm just telling myself that. Or something.

Using nic in a safe manor? I see it so much, people lowering nic just because they feel it's what their suppose to do immediately after quitting smoking, and then relapse. Whether you vape a higher nic level and vape less, or vape less nic and vape more, the body needs that nic when transitioning . whatever works for the individual is the best choice, but inhaling less amounts of vapor has to be a healthier option.
