CNYC, did you just purchase the juice from Halo online, or did you get it at a store? I would highly recommend trying a B&M shop to find a flavor that you can enjoy without the side effects you experience. There is a wonderful website that helps you to locate vape shops within the area: New York E-Cigarette Vendors. I took the liberty to look around and see that VapeNY is based in New York, NY and appears to have regular meet ups. They are look promising. Also, there's another location in Brooklyn called MoVapes that I found through the website (open until 8 I believe) that has higher quality juice (suicide Bunny, Virgin Vapor, deMang and CleverVapes to name a few). If they have a sampling bar at this one, I know I'd be in heaven. Hope this helps some!

I appreciate the response.

I purchased everything directly through Halo Online. The flavors were great and they were very effective in getting me off cigs. Remember at 0mg I was still feeling the same symptoms with my favorite juice LONGHORN. After researching I have a hunch that it has a lower PG ratio than Turkish Tobacco which I was also vaping. WHY ? The juice is much thicker and much sweeter almost syrupy. I was more turned on by the thicker juice than thinner. After a while the Turkish Tobacco tasted like a chemical mess to me. Either way I need to try 100% VG before I move on.

By the way Johnsons Creek emailed me back regarding adding water to their mixes. They don't recommended it because it would alter the taste and may not be as effective. They mention using ethyl alcohol as a thinner in their E Juice description. I assume this is what they use to make the juice smokeable.

I ordered from the RED Oak Line TENNESSEE CURED TOBACCO at 1.1% mg nic and another of the same flavor at 0% nic. I plan on mixing the two to make a 6mg juice.

At the moment I am researching what type of mini cigars to smoke if this doesn't work out. I really enjoyed vaping without heavy lungs afterwards.

Tennessee Cured it some good stuff, so I hope it works for you.

I don't buy it anymore because I'm not a fan of VG so much, and their PG juice doesn't have enough vaper for me.
But it does taste really good, and I wish I could get it in a 70/30 mix.

If I could, I would probably start buying it again.

Well I got my 100% VG juice in today from Johnson's Creek ( Excellent Customer Service). I purchased both 0% and 1.1 % Nicotine. I've been vaping the 0 mg for a while now and I feel {Moderated} ! This is ridiculous. It is obvious to me that whatever additives they use in these juices are toxic to my body. You don't get a {Moderated} feeling from additives that don't contain ......... you get SICK from it.

This E-Cig stuff is for the birds.

I don't know how you guys are succeeding with this stuff. I really don't. I gave this a fair try with an open mind but there is nothing else I can try. " But think about your health" some might say to you. I say THINK ABOUT YOUR HEALTH in response.

All the vendors and retailers on this forum can bash me all they want but this stuff is basura (garbage).

*** I do however appreciate the tips and support I have gotten from several members of this forum. It has been extremely helpful to me.

Do I think E-Cigs should be regulated somewhat ? HELL YEAH Banned ? NO. Not until more tests have been done but I sure wouldn't recommend them to anybody after what I experienced these past few weeks.

Thanks for reading. Good Luck with your addiction.

There's very little that can be, and I quite understand you walking away as fast as you can.

But it would be very interesting if you got some glycerine from the pharmacy and tried that.

All I can think of would be:
a) hyperventilation
b) intolerance of glycerine -- but I haven't heard of those symptoms.
c) intolerance of some flavour component.

But if you want to quit now, I don't blame you at all. Good luck.

My SO hates it too...quite honestly I believe it when he says it makes him feel bad, but I also think alot of it is created in his mind.

Good Luck to you.

Thanks. Can you describe what he feels when he says he feels bad and hates it ? Those are some pretty strong words. I actually like to feel high :) but when it's coming from something that isn't supposed to make you feel high that is concerning to me.

I started out vaping occasionally months ago, so I can relate. I was even a non-smoking ex-smoker at the time, hadn't touched a cigarette in years. I had some symptoms even on low-nicotine e-juice. I eventually adjusted to the level of vaping, though.

Blu's at 16mg made me a little sick feeling, and I wasn't even chain vaping. However, I have a lot of experience with nicotine in the past, and OD (I did snus, dip and so on, too, and I think that helped me know my limits), so I knew how to handle mild nicotine overdose and to be cautious. I think a lot of smokers don't have this quite as often. Well, vaping is a lot more like snuff, snus, or dip than smoking. The nicotine is absorbed a lot more slowly and the overdose wears off a lot more slowly. So you can't vape like you are hot-boxing a cigarette, you can vape yourself sick doing that.

Well since we are/were both smokers for 30+ years, I (and I'm sure he) never got buzzed from cigarettes. I did get buzzed when I switched to ecigs though, and I didn't like it. :p That went away after a couple of weeks.

So to answer your question about why he hates it, there's a little background. He had to have a major lung surgery due to repeated spontaneous pneumothorax (lung collapse). So certain things like really cold air, certain chemicals, etc really aggravate his lungs. Yes, he does smoke (Ultra Lights), but I think the numbing effect of the chemicals in tobacco smoke makes it so that he doesn't react to them.

One day he ran out of smokes and was broke. I also didn't have enough money and wasn't going to buy them for him (we keep our money separate and I only had enough money for gas at the time) so I offered my backup ecig and he could use that until he had some money to buy smokes. He used it (I gave him 3 or 4 different juices, one with WTA and one was 24mg--I was using 18 and 12 at the time) but was white-knuckling the whole time. He said all it did was make him feel like smoking a real cigarette more. He was able to scrounge up enough change to buy a pack the next morning.

He also says the vapor tastes "weird" (I think he may be a super-taster), and it hurts his lungs.
