I havent tested for leakage, but NT caps fit the REO bottles...now I have the LP not sure if those bottles are different from the grand, but they only hold 5ml liquid...tested using syringe and filling cheesecake and raspberry :) went 4.5ml cheesecake and .5 raspberry that takes it almost to the top of the bottle :)

really? so a filled LP Grand bottle is 5ml, not 6?

If Rob hadn't drastically changed my life for the better, I'd start a revolt LOL

Thank you! I haven't had time to read everyone's reply and make a choice! Hubby already said did you order it? I haven't! I'll be back...no time to research right now which topper to get, probably will know once I read all the replies! :)

Tracey

I recommend the LP RM2 ("LP Reomizer" on the site) as your first topper...ceramic base so easy to avoid shorts, plenty of space to build on, great flavor, etc. Then you could always get another topper some other time. the Cyclone with AFC has rave reviews :)

My set up?

2 LP REO Grands
2 LP RM2s
28gauge kanthal and 1/16 drill bit for each coil
One REO has a 1ohm coil
One REO has a 1.1ohm coil
Using organic cotton wick until my KGD (which shipped today) comes in

I'd be happy to post pics and walk you through rebuilding, but super_x_drifter has a few really good videos on how to build it. I'd recommend watching one and I'll be happy to walk you through it (on the phone even while you're doing it) also

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8FyL2CTd-k

PS - it IS as easy as he makes it look. I crank out a coil and wick in a matter of moments. and I'm AWFUL with stuff like this

I have a bunch of spare bottles and just swap 'em out - i usually carry two with me at all times, with synergistic flavors :)

I was just wondering if that was possible to do. In that case I think I would just keep a REO sized bottle for each of my juices and swap on the fly. The flavor in my dripper seems to change over with just adding new juice and no wash out so if imagine the Reomizer would do the same.

Man, just what I need, more reasons to want a REO!

Congrats on getting the green light for a REO!

The low profile RM2 is this one.

I'd second the advice for an LP Grand and RM2. As others have said, the RM2 is very easy to build on and the ceramic deck helps protect against short circuits. I prefer the Grand over the Mini because it carries twice as much juice and uses an 18650 battery. Not only is the battery life longer, but I don't have to deal with having another size battery around. You may also want to order a spare spring and a couple spare screws for the RM2 (if you drop one they're very difficult to find because they're so tiny).

You can buy some Kanthal from Rob to get started, but I buy mine in 100ft rolls at RTD Vapor. A 100 ft. roll will probably last you a couple years!

yeah I mean sometimes I will rinse the atty and blow through the feeding tube (gets the juice all out) and re-wick when swapping juices, depends on how badly I want the new juice to taste just like the new juice. but it's not necessary if the juices are complimentary. The old flavor will fade in a few hits. Even if you go the longer route I just described it still takes me less time than it ever did in a tank. The bottle swap is 5 seconds. not to mention if you want to try a flavor out you can drip instead of squonk, to test it without filling a bottle - or want to try a combo out, drip a different flavor ontop of your squonk.

Not trying to enable you but, it really is quick and easy and the flavor's outrageous.

to sum up the REO: it is a standard dripper with a bottom-feeding mechanism that does not require dripping. nothing more convenient than that :)

and, spare bottles are only 65 cents a pop.
