But I don't think e cigs should be censored, Kids can easily find and watch adult videos.
It all lies in the lies, We need a system to make sure the person buying E-Cigs isn't a kid.
I personally have no problem with a young adult buying an e cig to help them QUIT but when one buys one just to be "cool" or for fun it isn't cool.

I totally agree. I'd rather see a kid vaping (to quit smoking) than ruin his/her lungs the way I have with my 40+ year habit.

It all lies in the lies, We need a system to make sure the person buying E-Cigs is/was a smoker and REALLY WANTS to quit.
I personally have no problem with a young adult buyin an e cig to help them QUIT but not to be cool or for fun.

Why should an adult buying an e-cig have to be a smoker looking to quit? As an adult, shouldn't they be allowed to decide what they inhale? We, as vapers, are already facing obstacles to get e-cigs accepted and we are using the arguement that we are adults and should be allowed to decide on a less harmful alternative. If you take away the adult choice arguement you are limiting the ability to allow vaping into the mainstream.

There are no guidelines in purchasing cigarettes, cigars, dip, SNUS, snuff, etc. other than the requirement that your are old enough in your area to purchase it. Why should e-cigs be different?

Good parenting goes a LONG way. If you look at most of the government regulations of late, they can be replaced by good parenting. Don't want your kid to drink down 758oz of soda? Don't buy it. There is no need for government to step in and ban the sale of over-sized sodas (NY City). It seems lately that government is taking on the role of parent, and I see that as a horrible thing. Hell, the government can't even keep their own house in order, why do I want them running mine?!?

I have edited my post, I didn't realise how dumb it was.
Sorry

Kids get tired of toys rather quicky, especially ones that cost real money they have to come up with.

Maybe they should charge amounts like $400 and get an immediate rebate to their bank for what it doesn't cost.
Like say I'm a 10 year old and have $50 in my account, Now I wanna buy a $20 kit BUT the seller ADVERTISES the price as like $100(Rebate after purchase), Now that will deter me from buying it since I don't want to spend $100 on a toy nor do I have the money for it.
Ingenious eh?

If vaping is to become mainstream, it must have to fall under at least the minimum of regulation as far as kids are concerned. You have to be a certain age to buy cigs, you have to be a certain age to buy alcohol, and you should have to be a certain age to buy vaping material. Beyond that, you can not regulate or insinuate that anyone of "legal age" does not have right to vape whether its for smoking cessation or not. I have heard people on here talk on both sides of their mouth. On one hand, they are obsessed with vaping. Turning nicotine addiction into a lifelong hobby is even bragged about!! They buy every new flashy mod that comes out. They post photos of all their equipment and talk about how much fun vaping is. And justify it all because they use to smoke cigs.

Then if someone posts about vaping 0 nic for the fun of it, they are on he/she like white on rice. Accusing them of jeopardizing their lifestyle and telling them that he/she has no right unless they used to smoke !! Selfish BS!! I say.. I am including myself in this hypocrisy. If you think young "adults" are not attracted to all this fancy vaping equipment, you are kidding yourself. My grandson had already visited a number of vendors and is virtually in love with some of the equipment. So my question (seriously) is how can we tell an adult of any age that they have no right to enjoy that which we enjoy so much just because they have not smoked before? JMHO

I 89% agree, One, Isn't the whole point of vaping for WE the used to be smokers to help us quit and then use like we did cigs?
I just think if there is some kid who smokes "Insert Leaf" they should be able to buy AND use an e-cig to help them quit/instead.
