Every bottle is gone, I even suffered through the bad flavors because I had nothing else.

I learned that I hated most of the liquids I had and never really found my favorite vape.

I did like this cinnamon cherry-bomb flavor from a local guy, but he's gone and the liquid had a high PH and ruined my atomizers/tank mods anyways. and... actually stained one of my keys on my keyboard pretty bad...

So.. Can someone please help me? I thought I really liked the strawberry from Liberty-flights.com, but when I ordered a 30 ML of it, I found myself becoming nauseous to the flavor towards the end. Just thinking about that crappy strawberry makes my stomach turn. I deff do NOT like strawberry from liberty-flights anymore

anyone know where I can find a DIY kit for around 20 bucks? or is that crazy talk? Idk how much those things go for....

Or a good place for liquid? I like sour, fruity stuff and haven't found a good one yet. Mind you the only place I've ordered from is Liberty-flights and HoneyVille Vapor, which I've soon come to realize I despise their liquids. HoneyVille liquids are insanely thick and are too strong. They burn my throat for the first 5 min of vaping. I was very excited about a lemon flavor from liberty-flights, but then realized it tasted like absolutely nothing...

Basically I'm looking to spend around 20 bucks on either a DIY kit or a bunch of GREAT flavors.

Here's a list of vendors that sell samplers...may be that this is the way you need to go to find an all day vape. Just buy a bunch of samplers until you find something.

It's going to be hard to accomplish what you want (DIY kit or a bunch of great flavors) for just $20. It's that whole "taste is subjective" thing again. What 4 out of 5 people rave about, you may think is horrid.

For DIY, you can get a decent amount of nicotine base for about $20, and small bottles of flavoring for little money (around $2 for 3ml). Then you need to get bottles to mix in, maybe some syringes for measuring, etc. DIY is cheaper in the long run, but the upfront costs can be steep.

I think hairball has a great suggestion with getting many small sample bottles to find out what you like. Research the vendors on the list in the reviews section to see if anyone has similar tastes to yours. Still no guarantee that you will like the liquid, but at least you won't be stuck with big bottles of stuff you don't like.

I DIY mostly with One Stop DIY Shop

They just had a special for the 4th..... 3 30ml for the price of 2 e-juice base for $21.00. Flavoring is about 1.50 ish +/- for each flavor.

Now... I buy that in double strength (48mg/ml) nic 50/50 VG/PG mix, and cut it in 1/2 with PG for 24 mg/ml 75/25 and end up with 6 30 ml bottles.

The PG is about 8.50 per 8 oz jug of good PG. Shipping is 6.00. So.....

21.00 for 3 x 30 ml double strength.
8.50 for PG (more than you need, won't need to order it next time)
1.50 ish for a flavoring.
6.00 shipping

36.00 done out the door and you have 180 ml of juice. That's 20 cents per ml. That's a two month's supply for me, so $18.00 per month due to the sale. And next time the order is less because I won't need the PG (buy flavors instead ).

Would that be enough to make my own liquid? I could be totally wrong, but what I've gathered is I simply drop a tiny amount of the flavoring into the unflavored nic base and presto, you got e-liquid.

I tried looking at the DIY section of this thread, but I really don't want to mess around with high concentration nicotine liquids, menthol crystals or dilution with VG/PG. I use map tanks, so what i was thinking was putting a bit of unflavored juice in there and drop a tiny drop of flavor at a time and add more until I like the flavor.


On liberty-flights I can buy a low level nic VG base 30ML and some really cool flavorArt flavors like pistaccio, yogurt, grapefruit, rose and kiwi for like 25 bucks.

If you have empty bottles and a syringe handy, then you have the hardware part of the DIY kit ready. The 24mg unflavored nic is not a dangerously high concentration to handle. If you have a spill, you can wash it off before it does you any harm. Many will recommend that you wear latex gloves and safety glasses as an added precaution.

You're better off mixing the nic and the flavor in a separate bottle than trying to mix them in the map tank. Easier to shake it up, and most people agree that some of the Flavor Art (FA) flavors (especially the tobacco ones) need to steep before they are ready to use. It may not be ready to vape right away.

A search of the DIY liquid section of the forum will probably bring up good mixing percentages and other tips for the flavors you want. The FA flavors are some of the most potent available, and a little goes a long way. Better to start at a low percentage of flavor and work your way up. Most FA flavors are usually 33 drops/ml out of the dropper bottle, so it's easy to calculate how much you are putting into a mix without having to use the syringe to measure the flavor.

My confusion with what you posted is that you are seemingly under a very serious budget-gun, that whatever you buy, it HAS to count, and count BIG time. A SURE winner.

DIY'ing is fine and great, I'm not knocking it a bit and juice-mix myself all the time.

But doing that absolutely involves taking risks that the juice may or may not come out as something you want to vape.
Especially if you've never done it before.
Count on a learning curve, and I don't see how you can afford a learning curve on $20.00.

If you are truly serious about a $20.00 budget, I would only order from vendors that are a pretty much a sure-thing.

Make that a VERY sure-thing.

The only thing is wicking... so you won't taste the change for a while. And the flavor can take a bit to blend. Try 3 ml bottles, drip into an atty if you have one to taste it. When you like it, fill tank. Search "steeping" too. Different flavorings require different amounts... there's no set rule, but 1-10% is the usual quote.

You are indeed very right on what I'm trying to say. I'm just very tired of spending 25 bucks on all these liquids and end up feeling physically sick from them.

Idk if you can help me, but the problems I'm having are.

- Liquid is too thick and gunks up my CE2 towards the end, making the taste HORRIBLE after the liquid is almost gone. When I go to clean the CE2 I'm shocked on how much crap gets dry burned off. Almost all of these problems are with HoneyVille Vapor.
- The flavors are very weak, don't taste like I expected, or are VERY overpowering. I bought some peanut butter flavor from a local guy and I'm seriously thinking it's an extract because even if I add TWO drops to my map tank with prefilled liquid, All I can taste is a unsweetened peanut butter. I've been mixing barely a drop with my crappy coffee liquid and my THICK vanilla liquid. It doesn't taste like much, but it's A LOT better than what those flavors taste on their own.
- Liquids go too fast
- Liquids are way too harsh and my throat has to "adjust" for the first few min of vaping.

I thought that maybe if I tested around with non flavored liquid and added my own, I could perfect something I'd like with A LOT of flavor and could adjust all the problems I'm having.

I've always mixed my flavors around, I just don't know if it's the same when your using FlavorArt. I know that i use MUCH less, but it might be worth the shot.

So far I'm thinking I might just get a sampler pack and be safe, but I'm seriously scared that it will fail like all my other flavors.

Right now my E-cig experience is 2/10

Liberty Flights does have a 30ml bottle of nic in PG for about $8. It's good, I've bought a couple bottles. Then you can cut it VG but they are out of stock. You can find VG at walmart, it's labeled Glycerin. You can get Flavourart flavorings at Liberty Flights too, if you order be sure to pick up a bottle of their sweetener flavor

capella flavoring is very popular on the diy forum and they have a special right now.. buy 4 get 2 free.. their shipping is reasonable and you can get VG and/or PG there also at a great price. (I'd get it there rather than at walmart) If you like chocolate, get their double chocolate, add a couple drops of sweetener and it's great.

You talk about your juices being thick.. that's the VG in them. I mix at 70-80% PG and the rest VG.. the flavors are PG based. I also buy from Tasty Vapor, they sell 48mg flavored nic juice that you can cut with the same (or different) flavor "doublers" (which is just flavored PG/VG) and it comes out pretty cheap if you buy the doubler in the 4oz size. they have 4 flavors on sale each week and this week my favorite (waffles) is on sale! They also sell samplers now.

Diy is pretty easy... just nic juice, PG, Vg, and flavors (and sweetener) there are several calculators.. I use this one. Others use things like PGA and everclear and such.. I just stick to simple recipes. There are some stickies on the diy forum that go into more detail and also recipes.

I have only tried 10 different companies. You need to decide if your looking for flavor or throat hit. What is your nic. Level? Strawberry pie from Kick bass, a 15ml bottle is under $8.00 $2.50 shipping. They have great reviews. One of my top 3 suppliers. I have not found better quality for the price. Check the boards in deals and steals. You may find a good deal in the classifieds. Wasting money is part of the journey, hope you find your perfect all day soon.
