I haven't had a smoke since I started vaping on 10/1 (PAD smoker for 17 years), but just lately I've been itching to have one. I think the first month on the eGo was so much fun -- all that juice, hardware, methods to test out; constantly on the forum asking and answering -- I didn't miss smoking at all. Now vaping has just become a fairly mundane part of my life and I wonder if a 'log would hit the spot. Maybe it's time for a mod...

I generally have 1 or 2 cigarettes on Friday night and 1 or 2 on Saturday night, this is a major decrease compared to the 60 or so per week I used to smoke. I can't say I'm really that interested in quitting although I am pretty confident I could just stop now since I went 1 month without one after I got my Provari and it wasn't a big deal. I also figure that I'm probably just going to lose interest after a while, the weather is getting colder now and last Saturday I found that I didn't even feel like finishing the one cigarette I went out to smoke that night and as the temperature continues to drop I'll probably be less and less inclined to go out and smoke.

Luckily for me I am LOVING vaping. My main dislike about smoking was the nasty smell. Even as a PAD smoker, I hated the smell. I rarely smoked in my home, and always by an open window. Now my Mom and Sister live next door and they both chain smoke. The smell off of their clothes is a daily reminder of why vaping is such a hit with me.

Smoked for over 25 years and never knew that I stunk lol. I smell places that smoke and now I can see what my mom was telling me. BTW always listen to your mother, unless your sixteen like my son and know everything lol

Tasted pretty good. Marlboro Red.. actually about 2 a day lately.. verses 10 I was smoking a few months back.

Anyone else still enjoy a good tasting cig once in a while, but still primarily vapes the e-cig?
How many did you smoke then and how many do you smoke now?

Hi-

Wont touch a cigerette ever again, well at least I hope not lol. Vaping is much more fun and the benifit of not stinking is awesome. I was at Drill yesterday, and one of the janitors sat next to me to gossip and I just cringed at how badly he stunk from smoking cigarettes.
2 months into quiting and am super happy.

Nope...don't smoke at all anymore. I can't...literally...I can't choke one down at all. It seems that after i switched completely to vaping that my lungs prefer the vapor to the smoke and revolted when I tried to smoke once in January (4 months after I stopped smoking). Couldn't get past the first drag. Like it or not, I'm a non smoker now. It took me 6 months to make the transition, but now, I don't even crave them anymore.

You have my permission to:

1. Smoke.
2. Never clean your attie.
3. Carry more than one fully assembled ecig.
4. Vape the original juice in the attie that it contained when shipped.
5. Throw away disposable atties without draining the juice from them.
6. While filling, blow excess juice down the sink drain.
7. Get the most possible vapor so you can watch your $$$ literally disappear into thin air.

And much, much more!

I haven't had an analog cig in about 6 months now, and the last one I had tasted AWFUL. Every so often I'll get curious and think about buying a pack, but I never feel like going to the store and dropping $6 to find out something I already know.

Nowadays if I want some analog tobacco, I'll buy a nice cigar.

I haven't smoked for over a year and a half, approximately the time I have been vaping. I gradually stepped down my nic from 32mg to 0mg. It seems my addiction was more of a oral fixation than a nicotine addiction. I still get a feeling of relaxation from vaping although the need has lessened. I'm fairly certain I can drop vaping also, but I love it too much as a hobby to let it go.

I started vaping about 13 months ago, and I instantly and COMPLETELY quit smoking for about 6 months. I used to smoke about 10 cigs a day

Then stuff in my life started getting really stressful, and I started smoking again. Still vaped, but was I was smoking a few cigs a day.

Now I am down to 1 or *maybe* 2 cigs a day, primarily after dinner - I just GOTTA have it. I still vape thruout the day. Why is it so hard to completely shake the last cig now, I wonder?
