Hello everyone,

Im using: Joyetech Cuboid 150w + Velocity RDA, and 'My man 80VG/20PG from One Hit Wonder'. I have a dual 4 wrap 26 gauge coil setup that sits on .3 ohms. Wattage @ 60W

I would like to get some tips about how I can increase the amount of flavour. Here are the things I already tried:

- Bigger coils -> 3mm
- Pushing the coils up so the airfrom comes from under the coils
- Increasing the wattage
- Tighten up the airflow

Also I shake my bottle of juice daily so the ingridients mix well.

Any tips?

Kind regards,

Daniël

I wrap either SS 28 gauge (for low Ohms) or Kanthal quad twist 32 gauge (for higher Ohms) depending on the RDA ...the Kanthal is only 'cause I have about a hundred feet of it....works OK...you might also try Rayon wicks...I've been experimenting with them and they seem to give a better flavor than cotton...check the threads using search term 'Rayon"....

Cascade by Adirondack - Insanely juicy, tastes exactly like green apple Jolly Ranchers/Sour Apple Blow Pops
Soda Jerk by Juice Parlour- I've bought tons of Root Beer vape, finally found this one and it's outrageous. It's impossible to put down.
Raspberry Wastegate- Delicious Raspberry and an almost cereal/cream like undertone. Very flavorful.
Double Expresso by Njoy- This one is discontinued by Njoy, and man do I wish they still made it. I recently found someone with 4 bottles of it for sale, snapped them up FAST. Super sweet and and overpowering coffee taste at the same time. If you can find some, buy it. It's good.
EliqCube Pink Cubes- Says it tastes like Strawberry Starbursts and delivers on the promise.

I keep a ton of the above 5 as my go to vapes. I am always buying various different types of vapes to try. For cheap, flavorful vapes I buy online at Wolfpack , they have some cheap juice that's good if you're on a budget (I recommend Root Beer, Blueberry Parfait, Berry Blast, Butterscotch, but they have a lot of good stuff)

Just a spaced kanthal A1 coil? What gauge are you using? Or is it ni200?

That one is 28g kanthal, 35-40w. Yes spaced coils only for me.. basic, simple coil on Rayon, rich Flavor, like drinking your juice... Rayon being the key.

Also the coil closer to the air hole usually increases flavor... Lung hits increase the flavor... I don't go heavier than 26g, way too much mass to heat and cool efficiently going heavier. I use 95% vg, great flavor.

One of the things I have found recently is that More Power is not the answer and I have been lowering the wattage and still producing a good cloud but find it flavorful. Works for me so give it a try and you might not experience the same affect it has on my DIY e-Liquids but what do you have to lose? :2c:

Velocity is not a flavor RDA
26 g 4 wraps is not enough...
Maybe the juice? SUBJECTIVE[emoji780]

Get a flavor RDA/ Sapor
24g ss316l 5/6 wraps 2.5 ID
flavor/vapor all day...
Good luck

VAPE IT[emoji100][emoji709]

AGREED, the deck (velocity) was designed for monster clapton builds and tall barrel for high wattage heat buildup, even my older vector puts out better flavor with simple .8 micro coils, the sapor is designed moreso for the flavor
BUT I wouldn't test any one RDA and run "one" flavor / brand through it and make my final conclusions, without having something to compare it to ...........

I'd agree, 4 is not enough, 6-8 wraps is the sweet spot for me. Up to 10 if gauge and diameter agree.

Placement of air holes can make a big difference in a dripper. Sometimes from the side of coil shooting across puts out better than straight on. Depends on the atty.
Sorry to jump in here. I'm new to rebuilding and I'm wondering how the amount of wraps affect flavour? Why would 4 wraps not be enough? I have a ton to learn.
