I hate UK customs

I ordered my S6 back in November - with shipping and two extra atomiser ends (so I have 901/510/801) it cost me about £170.

David has been great at keeping me informed and it is now here - nearly.

It's in a Parcelforce Depot in Stoke on Trent (17 miles up the road) and will stay there until I pay another £36 for value added tax and "handling charge" - handling? they haven't even tried to deliver it (despite what the tracking says).

Fortunately I have to go to Stoke tomorrow (my university has a campus there) and can pick it up - HOOOOOOORay!

So now, my S6 has cost me the same as (with shipping and because trog has a "buy one get one free" on) EIGHT Screwdriver bodies.

Ah well - never mind I'm sure it is worth it - I've even manged to stay a bit excited

Thats some mighty steep tax! I feel your pain. It seems things i buy from China don't have any import taxes...hmm...

I never get that problem with stuff from China either. It seems that UK customs "pick on" stuff from the US - trog says he has the same experience - China free, US taxed...

Thats definitely a frustrating thing to happen for sure. I gotta tell you though the SS build quality and crafsmanship is going to be the closest thing to perfection you ever laid your hands on. The Lamborghini/Ferarri of PV's that I believe no other will even come close to. It's beyond a level of even being necessary really but its just nice knowing that it is. Good luck in getting it and I know you will enjoy it for sure.
