My favorite is when they say they delivered it and it's not here. Almost two weeks later and it still isn't here. So much for through rain and snow..how about just arrive.
Oh by the way this isn't an e-cig package from Shawn I was waiting for.
I had one of those online delivery yes, actual delivery no, so I printed it and went to the Post Office the day after my package supposedly arrived.
They asked if I wanted to speak to the Manager, and I said no, I just wanted my package. Which they couldn't find and yes, the Manager did get involved.
Our regular driver was on vacation and the other driver had gotten into trouble before for non-delivery. The Post Office contacted the regular driver who was back and she had my package. And she made a special delivery to get the package to me.
Complain in person, as soon as you can. Ever since this happen, packages have been delivered here on a timely basis. They don't even collect my signature anymore, they just drop it in the box.

On tracking - I sent a package to my Mom - NJ to AL. It showed that I had dropped off the package and didn't update until 3 hours before delivery occurred a few days later. It should have updated when it passed through the hub in NJ and the one in Montgomery, AL. Nothing online.

However, USPS has the lowest price for shipping. I always spend the extra $2 bucks to insure my packages. UPS has for me personally - a low delivery actually accomplished rate. I love FedEx, but the cost is outrageous.
It was either 60 Minutes or Consumer Reports that did a test of USPS, UPS and FedEx. They shipped cartons of raw eggs. USPS beat all the other delivery services with the eggs 1. actually arriving and 2. arriving undamaged.
