I hope you can see the attached picture... i have a small ego c upgrade, a medium ego c twist and a large ego c twist. Now I know that I control the voltage output on on the twist and I just have to figure out what to set it on but for the small ego c upgrade, sadly it's not a pass through, I have no clue which "tank" and what resistance "ohms" to put on it.. seems like what I use on my twists are fine then when I try to use the same on my small upgrade it starts to leak... i was using a tobac bcc with replaceable "wics" but that's when my problems started with my 3 new batteries (I used to have2 pass throughs, which I miss very much) now I'm using an evod bcc tank and my twist is on 3.6 but it still sounds like it's going to start leaking.. HELP!!! I asked an owner of a vape shop but he was talking to me like I was stupid for not knowing:(

Well first off 1.8 to 2.5 Ohm coils would work well on those batteries. 1.8 Ohm will give you a little bit warmer vape then a 2.5 at the same voltage.

The Evods (I've had a bunch) are known to occasionally gurgle and the quality control of the coils can be spotty. If you get a "gurgler" you can try putting an extra flavor wick across the top of the coil (see picture below), increase the VG content of the juice to make it thicker or shrug your shoulders and put in a new coil.

Pin, Grommet, Head, Coil, Flavor wicks, Chimney, Top rubber washer

The flavor wicks are just loose strands of silica. You can take some out of a spent coil or roll a tiny bit of cotton from a cotton ball and lay it across with the other flavor wicks. (the chimney simply pops on and off)

Two tips:
I've found that keeping the Evod upright as much as possible will help to keep from leaking. If you lay it down alot, it could be breaking the vacuum and flooding the coil.

Keep the spent coils, they can be cleaned, dry burned and reused or you could at some point learn how to rebuild them.

Thank you so much! How would I learn how to rebuild them? The first vape store I ever went to the owner would fill them up for me like I didn't know what to do and he would press the button and hold it and he told me when I refill it do it again, that's how you prime it, I later went to a smoke shop and a guy told me the complete opposite, oh i was mad..

Yeah the second guy was right. Fill it up and let it sit for a minute or take a couple of draws without turning on the battery to prime a wick.

As for rebuilding it takes some tools, kanthal wire and wick (I use sterile cotton balls) It takes a little practice but it's really not hard.

Here's a picture of three Kanger coils I rebuilt with 30 gauge Kanthal and cotton:

If you click on the blue "2" next to Blog Entries under my avatar, I posted a two part tutorial on how to rebuild a Kanger Dual Coil into a single microcoil. It also shows what I use for tools and supplies. Rebuilding the coils for your Evod would be very similar, just a few minor differences (size of coil and installing the coil is easier on the smaller head)

The smallest battery is just a Set Voltage, probably somewhere around 3.7 volts with a fully charged battery.

The voltage you use on the other Twist batteries is up to you. You can use any voltage that give you the vape you are looking for. Higher voltage will produce a warmer vape and more vapor (Possibly) or it could produce a burnt flavor if set to high for the type, thickness, of the e-liquid you are using and the airflow of the tank. All these thing have an effect on the vape you get.

The noise you are hearing could be 2 things. One is the e-liquid is crackling, if you hold the mouth piece up to your ear and press the button you can hear it. Or it could be a build up of condensation in and around the mouth piece, Drip Tip, or because of a tight draw, low airflow, you are drawing some unvaporized e-liquid up into the tube the drip tip connects to and it is gurgling in that tube.
