I have a probelm

Just got my new BP 510 caps and neither will screw on either BP. It looks like the threads are too course.

I think Mike got another crappy job from his machine shop cause there's no way those caps were screwing on the BP's.

Best not to try to force them and screw up the threads on your BPs

Yes I know. They would just seem to start to tread in and that was it. Took both back off again and screwed the 801 caps back on with no probelm.

Are they brass or chrome? I know there have been some troublesome chrome caps.

Some got over chromed, made the threads too thick and bumpy. If you are going to exchange them, ask them to make sure they screw on a tube before mailing them out
