I have been experimenting with making my own coils and so far so good. Today, I made one that I thought was my standard 1.8 ohms (I know for those of you that sub ohm, this is weak, but hey). I had tested it and everything checked out so I put it on the battery and fired it up. WOWZA. The flavor was incredible. I went ahead and checked the reading on the battery and it came in at 1.6.

I was reluctant to take it apart again since the flavor was so intense, but I was curious as to what I did differently with this coil. I had missed my normal number of wraps by 1. To see if this was a one off or some other sort of flavor anomaly, I deliberately wrapped with 1 less again on another coil and tested it on a juice that I had to this point not wanted any part of after I had tried it. Again, it knocked my socks off and I'm actually going to be buying more of it.

Long story short, I have found that 1.6 ohms seems to be the sweet spot for all of my flavors. I spent some time this morning re-building coils and trying them out on flavors I had designated for the trash and I'm glad I did. I was able to redeem all but one flavor.

Life is good.......:vapor:

It also depends on the topper. I was using 1.8 for the longest time on Evods then went to ProTank mini's (The heads are interchangeable). Ironically, the ProTanks run too hot so I'm using 2.5 ohm now. At 3.4 volts!

I get 7 months out of a battery these days. :D
