a little late to the party, but better late than never I suppose.

I'm David and I've been vaping on and off for close to 2 years, but seriously vaping for the last 6 months. I smoked Marlboro Reds and 27's (pack a day) for nearly 7 years...and I'm only turning 23 next month.

In the 6 months I've been vaping, I've progressed from cig-a-like's to eGo One style mods to a single 18650 mod then to a dual 18650 VW mod then to a single 18650 mech mod and just today I got my first dual 18650 series mod. I've spent close to $1,500 on mods, juices, RDA's, tanks and assorted accessories in the search of the best flavors and best vape experience overall. It went from a necessity (quit smoking or die) to a legitimate hobby that I've turned into a job and a lifestyle.

I'm not really sure what else to say here, but feel free to ask me any questions you may have and I'll be happy to respond/answer to the best of my abilities. I look forward to contributing as much as I can and becoming a regular here. My life is all about vaping and doing my part to educate, help people quit smoking and of course...BLOWING $ICK CLOUDZ BRUH lol

So yeah...here I am. See you guys around!

It's a good thing that you switched away from analogs at such a young age... I've been meeting many young folks doing the same lately and I like this. I haven't spent that much in gearing up myself but I'm a kind of a free vaper since I DIY my juices and build my own coils running in TC mechanical mods. I've been staidly vaping away from cig for quite awhile now and I feel good about it, without really looking for novelty or ordering anything new for months now. I believe that I'm just fully satisfy with what I have so far... Welcome to ECF!

Welcome and glad you found us. I think and mind you this is only my humble opinion, but you also are sitting next to me on the bench marked "Shinyitus Disease". Although, what you have is spent is close to me (in the past 6 months) we definitely suffer from the same disease. ROFL
Welcome to ECF and look forward to chatting on the boards !!!!!!!!

Very similar journey here, except that I'm now up to temperature control vaping with Ti coils, and making my own juices. I'm finally at the point where I'm actually saving money...by making juices instead of buying them. I cannot get over just how expensive vaping can be if you only buy juices.

Reading this stirs a strange sense of feeling under dressed. In the last two years of vaping, on average for both juice and hardware, I have only spent ~$160 per year.

Not really a cheapskate here, rather somebody able to appreciate a little moderation. I still can get loads of clouds at times, even with humble little evod style tanks. Not really a cloud chasing fanatic though.

Whoa. Kind of weird to feel so under par as it seems. Of course, I had no idea until recently Linux was apparently using some program called Wayland as a display manager. *chuckles* I've always used Xorg. Now, it seems the linux community is leaping on an Xorg bandwagon. Um, erm ... didn't we all use it anyway? Most standard distros as far as I know, used Xorg.

Oh well, guess I'm just fuddy duddy. * shaking noggin and grinning * Welcome :)
