1. Are there any non-metallic but silver/stainless colored drip tips? Trying to reduce a metallic tang I'm getting, but all my hardware is stainless colored...

2. If not, where can I get a column style drip tip like the ones on the Aerotank or Kayfuns? Can't seem to find one without buying the tank.

3. Do I need to turn my mod "off" (lock the fire button) to conserve battery, or does it only use the battery when I'm firing it?

Need input!

There are tons of driptips available on multiple websites! one of the most commonly changed things on mods!

Nope, your mod will not be in use until you push the firing button! No battery drain unless your puffing away!

This is actually incorrect, there is a slight parasitic draw on any VV/VW device as the chip set monitors the battery. There is no such parasitic draw on a mechanical, but the VV/VW mods chip sets are constantly powered and therefore drawing power, however so slight.

Yeah, I know lots of places sell drip tips, I just can't seem to find the material/style I was looking for. Was hoping someone knew of one specifically somewhere that matched my criteria...

And thanks for the confirmation on the (slight) battery draw on a regulated mod. I'm going to start turning mine off when I'm not using it.

On any mod where you click 5 times to switch off or whatever, there will be current drawn all the time. The only electronics without that behaviour have real on-off switches (like mech mods do.) The electronics needs to be active to recognise that you are pressing it five time (or whatever) to switch it on. However on any well-designed electronics, the current drawn while it is off will be tiny. I have a dark-room timer I built a several years ago powered by a PP3 without an on-off switch. It is still on its first battery. In fact I doubt there is a different battery drain when you lock e-cigs. They will be in low drain mode until you push the button whether they are locked or not... probably.

Regarding drip-tips, what about clear pyrex? Or give a stainless steel one a coat of clear nail varnish.
