Hey guys, I recently got an ego styled e cigarette for about 15 dollars the other day and I love it, I'm going to quit analogs and start vaping.
after a day of light usage, I've come to realise that the stock battery is rather awful and It's time to get a new one.
not only that but I've also realised that I need new clearomizers/cartomizers/(drip tank?) - things that hold the liquid and make it into vapor :p

1. I'm thinking of getting this ego-k 1100mAh battery, is 1100mAh a large enough capacity? Ego-K 1100mAH battery only - Accessories

2. Should I instead be looking for a battery tube and buying lithium batteries inside it?

3. If I get the ego-k that I showed in question 1, what sort of attachments can I put on them? are most things compatible?

4. what sort of attachment should I get? I want something that allows me to fill it up at the start of the day with enough e liquid to keep vaping all day. something that wont be broken by certain flavours, something that can be cleaned so I can have different flavours - and something that will last at least a month but be affordable so I can buy bulk.

if you could share some possible insight onto vaping ( and cheaply!) I would be super appreciative :)

IF your thinking of going for a mod I would say a vamo v3 or v4 I know Fasttech has the V3 for $36ish and AKA Vapers has the V4 for $38-$40something. As far as a tank to vape all day your prolly best going with a 4ml cartotank which you can get anywhere but I usually suggest Pyrex which you can get on IBTanked they seem to be the best for your buck. As far as ego batteries, I have not used one in a couple years but from what I understant the Ego-Twist is the best way to go and the larger mah baattery you can find the more life you will get out of it and cart tanks still work on them. The cheapest option would be and Ego Twist with a basic DCT Carto tank which you can get just about anywhere but if you wanna get fancy and go for the mod make sure you get protected batteries. RTD Vapor AW Batteries is probly your best bet just go for some Efest or Panasonic batts and a Nitecore charger. Hope that helps. Vape on. :vapor:

If you're into ego batteries I suggest the ego-twist batteries. They are variable voltage which means you can change the setting to best fit your likings. For a topper I suggest the Kanger protank 1 or 2. The main difference I believe is that you can change the drip tip on the second one. It's pyrex so it wont break on those certain e-liquids.

Get Vision Spinner or Ego Twist batteries with capacity around 1100-1300mAh. As a rough guide you'll get an hour vaping from 100mAh, so one should last all day easy.

Kanger Evods are cheap, hardy and perform well, but they aren't large capacity so you'll end up filling one mid afternoon unless you use multiples. Kanger Protank vapes similarly but is larger capacity and the tank is glass, good for certain juices not cracking it, not so good if you regularly drop it. There's a mid size Kanger too, the T3 (or T3s etc). Some say all the above leak but we have several genuine Kanger ones and none ever leak. These are also all bottom coil devices so they vape quite cool.

If you like top coil consider Vision Vivi Nova's or Mini Nova's. top coil vapes warmer, some say a bit more like a ciggy. The down side is you need to roll it around regularly to keep the wick wet.

All the above are fairly cheap to buy, and all can be rebuilt fairly easily. Rebuilding will save you a small fortune.

There are two types of threading used in this type of device. If you look at the top of your ego battery you should see them. The small inner is 510 thread, and the large outer is ego threads. Therefore any of these devices will work on an ego style battery.

Beware the battery tubes containing separate batteries are a lot bigger and bulkier. I have quite a few combinations, both cheap and expensive, and my out n about all day device is a Vision Spinner and an Evod. Hard to beat for an allrounder that wouldn't break the bank if you lost it etc.

Hope this helps :)

Both ego and mod setups are a good start. With the Ego you'll need to be a little more conscious about the resistances of your other hardware, I do recommend the protank btw. As far as mods go, I 100% agree with the Vamo 3 or 4 they both accommodate nearly any tank/clearo/carto you choose and the variable wattage takes the guesswork and costly mistakes out of VV/VW mods. The upfront cost of a mod is going to be higher even if you buy from somewhere like fasttech and you'll want to consult a more trusted supplier for batteries, but if I could have known to start with the vamo, I would of saved hundreds on the blu, ego, Fin, etc.
