I have a Aspire K1 (idk if clone or not) and a Fogger v4. I thought the drip tips would be compatible and that they were all a standard size. Now you might think because the K1 is a smaller tank that it's drip tip would be smaller when actually it's wider than the hole for the Fogger. I ordered like 4 drip tips from FT for my fogger - I'm ....tin my bricks now because I only own those two that have changeable tips so idk which is a normal standard.. I hate my K1 and I'd be really damned if the tips I ordered only work for the K1.

There is Google and China specs.. then there is people who have these and know what they are talking about so i came here first. Any insight would be appreciated guys :)

I can upload pix upon request but I'm not lying :p The K1 drip tip is too big to fit into the Fogger V4 so is the K1 outside the norm or is the Fogger? Im also wondering if my incoming drip tips will work on the Fogger or not, bc they are not going into the K1 .. maybe - but over my cold dead body!

I noticed that the Aspire ones (for the nautilus) were just a tad wider than they should be if a standard "510" I used before passing to my daughter who does the same thing now, just a tad bit bigger Oring to have other 510 drip tips fit it. The Fogger should be standard 510. If the ones you ordered are too, they should fit it.

if you want to use them on the Aspire (and they're standard) a wider oring for the bottom of the drip tip makes them fit snuggly ...I'm not sure why some of the Aspire's are just a tad bigger, I got one drip tip an odd color for Slow Tech when I ordered 10 mflux ones ..just the one is a tad bigger it worked on the Nauti I gave the daughter but it was too big/snug for the Kangers.

who knows?

I have seen many discrepancies with drip tips. Not a huge difference but some will be a bit wobbly, some fit snug, some just a tad over sized and cannot be squeezed in. I have even seen this slight difference with the same tip, one a bit larger. I just play around with orings till they fit. I hope the ones you ordered fit nicely.

Every aspire drip tip i have k1,nautilis,mini nautilis,Atlantis all to big to fit other tanks and drippers
Its not the o rings its the metal that is to big

This is true. The aspire tips do have a larger base so no amount of oring juggling will make it fit in most other tanks, but I thought the OP was asking about a standard tip ordered that was not a stock K1 or other aspire. This is what I was referring too. Even though there is a standard size there can be slight differences that make one tip fit better than the next.

Is anyone enjoying their K1?

What I like them for is to try a new juice out. I also use my mini kangers for this. They don't need a lot of juice to fill em but give a decent idea of what the juice taste like. Actually I have some juices I prefer in these little gems over a bigger tank or dripper. They are also low profile so when I want to be a bit more discreet I pair one with my istick and I am ready to go. If I am feeling juice moody I can throw an extra k1 with another flavor in pocket or purse. So Ya, I enjoy them for what they are.

Interesting. idk if I got a bad one or what but mine has a sort of flavor to it that really puts me off to any juice. I'm almost positive that it's the type of cotton/wick used in the BVC. I also have a very tiny suspicion that it might be due to something like machine oil as I didn't wash mine before use bc at the time, I didn't know that it could be an issue or that the issue even existed. I'm also not even sure if machine oil is something thats only an issue with RBA/RDA's. I would like to love my K1 as I thought it would be the bomb with its BVC and glass tank.. but it makes my juice taste funny or maybe I have just been spoiled by the awesomeness of 100% organic cotton.

You are not alone. I have heard this from others as well, but have not run into the issue. I am wondering if the coils that give off that awful machine or others have described it as a burnt rubbery taste that won't go away no matter what, is due to bad fakes? Or maybe Aspire did a really bad huge batch that is out there waiting to ruin people on aspire tanks. I have heard this experience with the regular size coils as well.

The bad flavor should go away with replacement coil but it didn't. this led me to believe it might be machine oil. but that's a big 'maybe'. When my vamo gets here I'll wash out the K1 and see if that clears it up, but Im almost positive I just don't like the wick flavor. sux bc I bought 10 replacement coils thinking the K1 was going to be 'it' .. :|

Im sorry. I completely get your disappointment. On the bright side you are talking about a little tank that had to cost under $10 and maybe $20 on the 10 replace coils. I think I have wasted more money on juice that I thought would be divine only to find I could not stand it. I would try to soak the tank in vodka along with the offensive coils (ya, I know you are not supposed to rinse aspire coils) and then try them again with unflavored nic, pg/vg base or inexpensive juice to see if you can get a better taste. If it still taste nasty to you just move onto another style tank. As I said I do use my k1's and have not had issue but I do prefer my mini Kangers hands down. If you have a local vape shop see if they have a consignment or PIF for the k1 and not used coils. Maybe you can recover a little of your loss or at least feel good about helping somebody else. Or you could post it on the PIF or Treasure chest here on ECF. Just suggestions. What works for one is awful for another and vice verses.:vapor:
