I don't know if it's the v2.5 version or not, here's a better picture. It's the only one the shop sells ($17)
@elmattias - Thanks for the pic/suggestion. I don't know anything about cartomizers. My friend's first one was a cartomizer, and he said it was a pain because you had to be really careful not to prime it too much or too little or it would cause problems. Not sure of all the details but he got the Vivi after trying mine and said it was a lot easier to work with. Also, would that tank work on my eGo-C Twist?
It sounds to me that your friend had a atomizer/cartridge system...those CAN be "over primed" and cause all sorts of issues and problems. I can't stand them...but did try to give them a fair shake. For all of maybe a day. He must be confusing the cartridge/atty system with the cartomizer which is a one piece design. The atomizer is enclosed in the unit with the polyfill. You can't "over prime" it...but it can be flooded if you get liquid in the center tube. That's easily enough avoided (and corrected), and really shouldn't happen with a cartotank unless you flat out overfill the tank and the pour juice down the center of the cartomizer. Cartomizers are simple and effective. I strongly advise SINGLE COIL if you can get them...they don't burn juice up as fast and strain the battery as much. The dual coils are touted to put out more vapor, but I haven't found that to be the case in over a year of vaping. They can be a pain with burning juice, too. I prefer 2ohm or 2.5 ohm mostly (depending on what volts I'm vaping). If you are going to go the tank route...don't get the cartomizers that are colored black. That's a paper/glue thing that you'll have to remove to use 'em in the tank. For the average tank you'll want the XL size. There are "mini" tanks that take 35 mm. cartomizers, but most are made for 45mm. ones. I think Ikenvape calls their "XL" size or 45mm ones "mega". But bear in mind other vendors call something "mega" and mean something considerabley larger with a wider diameter that won't fit in the tank. Try to find out the measurements when you can. The proper diameter for the majority of tanks is 9mm...or right in that range.
